The song reminds me of listening to rain at night time at the end I love the song, don't particularly understand the first few lines but then again if you're in that kind of mood, it just makes sense I guess it doesn't have to...:awesome:

Yes. As you can tell I love the last set of lyrics in it. It's so sad but uplifting at the same time you know? I probably sound nuts but someone will get me :D

My view on coldplay lyrics in general (and what i absolutely love about them) is most of their songs can be interpreted in different ways for different moods. What I believe The Hardest Part is about (for my current mood) is something along the line of having to let go of someone you don't particularly want to. And something like trying to find the silver lining and moving on but you just can't let go That's my view :) Hopefully I haven't gone totally off what you're asking!

i'm not sure if it's a gig or not but i've seen just chris do a acoustic version of 'see you soon'. i'm positive most of you would have heard or seen it - it's absolutely amazing!

i'd always sort of liked coldplay's music (just didn't know it was them) since yellow came out, but clocks just started it... i first heard it on the radio and i was hooked. i was about 10 and i used to leave my radio on every night in case clocks came on... how sad i know but i was too embarrassed to buy the cd because everyone i knew listened to eminem (lol!!) and hated yellow then when iTunes (or some kind of equivilent) came out i was looking for 'in my place' to buy, accidentally got warning sign and was hooked since year 7
