i'm going straight into town on friday morning on the way to college to get my copy. I'll be late for college but i don't care, i'm still buying the album.

God dammit i love that album especially Chicago. I don't know you but I already like you!

Up until this was released I've really enjoyed all the new songs. I was getting more and more excited about the album but then when I first heard it i just felt a massive disappointment and to be honest I've hardly listened to Coldplay since. I've heard the song a few times now and it is slowly (very slowly) growing on me. As it's been said it's a good pop song but a somewhat mediocre Coldplay song. I think what was slowly making me enjoy it is seeing a video of it performed live. This song is definitely better live than on record but it doesn't make up for the lyrics either. Most certainly the song I'll skip most at the moment when I get the album.

it's only 9 days. loads of bands are bringing out new material this month, distract yourself with the awesomness that's building up to the climax of awesomness and then embrace it all. the 9 days will fly by and then the 2 weeks will be gone before you can actually buy it.

i'm ok with having the reworked tour footage. i think it'll be cool to see that again. Although I do agree with you about the recording sessions. It's a shame but maybe something in the future might bring some of it to the public, maybe a live dvd with bonus footage from the Fallen Empires tour? Because they are well overdue a live performance DVD

i've had it on repeat on my ipod for the last 24 hours straight. I love it, i think the album will be their best one yet. just going by the songs i've heard so far. they all seem really powerful and quite moving

I really hope Lovers In Japan returns, when I saw that back in December '08 in Liverpool it was really special for me considering I had and was still going through a really intense 6 months because of a long term surgery thing. When I was watching them perform and seeing the confetti just engulf the arena it was just a moment of joy and helped me forget everything else at the time. Whenever I hear the song it just reminds me of that special moment and brought back a lot of memories when I saw them again them in September '09 in Manchester. It'd be great to experience it again

hate the idea of coldplay being related to twilight. the only thing i'll give credit to them for is that the 1st film is alright, emphasise on alright. the soundtracks are good and it ends there. if the song is being picked for the film it must be somewhat different in comparison to Paradise and ETIAW after all it is called Falling, it's hardly the cheeriest of song titles. I'm hoping (really hoping) that it'll be at least close to a Parachutes like song since the film series is full of them kind of songs.

never mind, a ticket still might pop up somewhere for the Q show. For me I was too busy singing along to notice although i could pick up the electrical side of things once in awhile over my horrific singing and thought it was ok. It's only like the 5th or 6th time it's been played live so they could still be getting use to it maybe? For me This Isn't Everything You Are was sublime. My favourite of the album so far definitely. My top 3 would probably be at the moment: 1. This Isn't Everything You Are 2. Fallen Empires 3. New York

yeah it was crowdsurge. it completely freaked me out when i had register with them before i could buy the tickets cos i was thinking they'd sell out quite quickly and i was 15 minutes late after they went on sale

your best bet would be youtube a few days after the performance. I doubt there'd be a live stream :/ i got my tickets today :D so happy, can't wait for it now and the album!!! it's going to be so awesome

No Dublin date? I'm assuming there'll be more European dates than this?
