  1. it was in the Lounge where you wanted to talk about true love. You were wondering if you wanted to date Babtiste, but you didn't like that he was sleeping with women in 2008. That quote was my reply. It was not about the band Emigrate or Rammstein and certainly not made by a man. My account was not hijacked either. It was me. So, problem solved! and you girls .... enjoy all the Chrisiness in this thread :sneaky: (Chrisiness is like a new way of saying Craziness)
  2. Bring on the mice! Research on mice that are obesitas! (mind, the right one is a wildtype, just to compare, though you get the picture) UV illuminated mouse, how cool are they in a disco???
  3. Dee, I haven't heard from Paradise17 so I'll give the next turn to you (don't worry DiOli05, that's after you). I already have your address, but not your e-mail. Would you like to PM it to me? Then in time Diana will get your address :D Completely random, Dee, who is that 80's man in your sig? He looks like he could be from Duran Duran or something.
  4. ^ Bwahahahaha! Oh I feel so childish laughing over this, but yeah.
  5. Signs are tricky thing. They are not universal. Sometimes people are in general easy with other people, what they might interprete as 'love interest' while it's just being friendly. Also looking at lips does not mean perse that he's into you. None of these things are a garantee that he likes you the same way. I'd say like many people: Just go for it. If you don't dare to ask him out, then maybe let him know with flirting. Do all those things you just summed up. Try to touch his arm when you stand next to him or talk with him. Try to catch his smile. Be interested in him, ask him personal stuff. Good luck! (though I already said that :S I'll keep on following this :} )
  6.
  7. I've been in the situation of 'her'. What makes it hard for her is that you have more than just-friends feelings. You still admit that the least you want from her is a friendship. Clearly she doesn't want anything more than a friendship and doesn't feel comfortable with the whole situation. It is hard to stay friends with someone after you hear he's in love with you. Maybe she doesn’t want to be friends with you anymore or not until the storm lays down. You have to realise that she suddenly has to deal with a friend being in love with her. She knows for less than a week! Such a thing has to sink in. if you really feel for her, the least you can do is give her that time. So just give her some space – if she doesn’t start to talk with you, then don’t seek her up and start yourself - and especially don't go blaming her and call it ridiculous. Also don't lower the girl down by saying She should just be happy that at least someone wants her. Having her become more cold towards you, was the risk you took when you told her. You had the guts to tell her (bravo!) but now you should also have the guts to accept the outcome. A friendship is not something you can demand. It’s something from both sides and when you told her your feelings, you knew it could distort your friendship. If she doesn’t feel comfortable with being around you now that she knows you like her in another way, then you should respect that. I don’t see how this is playing with your heart, because she has been clear with you. She does not have those feeling for you. The best seems to let these feelings go that you have for her and then after that you guys can be friends again. But don’t push it by wanting her now to play all cool with you while she doesn’t feel comfortable with it. It will only push her further away from you. Cyan Kat, good luck! And enjoy this period :}

'that girl' is just open about her vision of the world. About what, according to her, the truth is. Absolute truth. Wanting her to apologize for that, is like wanting me to apologize for saying that you are a mammal living in a dying solar system. For her this religion and the idea of other people not living according to it going to hell is the truth. I hope you are not pissed off at her, but at the religion. She can't help it that she's convinced that people that don't worship God in the right way will go to hell. Or that the bible is to be taken literally. Since we don't think we will end up there, why feel bad about it?
  9. ^ I heb ze beiden gedownload maar nog niet naar geluisterd.... wil eerst Muse horen en wederom Mumford & Sons want die voelt als een groeier. The XX: Erg goed.

Me too, because I feel all warm and tingling when I think of her and my stomach is upset  "To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any Dee." - William Shakespeare

Well, I can remember that he himself believes in God. I don't think he wants to make fun of his 'own people' - so to say. This is just a delicate topic I guess. Deism? I think I feel for Dee-ism. Dee is our Goddess. Bless you all.
  12. The Guillemots - Hello Land! Wild Nothing - Nocturne The Raveonettes - Into The Night Efterklang - Piramida
  13. I know what you mean Brent (at least I think) First listen I wa so disappointed because it was so cheesy and lacked freshness .... and because of you I heard all the time the guy singing about his heart in pain, his hurting heart or cold heart. I gave it another try and the songs got better. This makes me think that I will enjoy it more when listening to it more. Right now the album is okay.
  14. ^ :bomb: I saw it yesterday evening on a webiste for sale ..... it sounds good! I need to have it!

thanks for the answer :) Don't feel unwelcome! There's always some friction between people, but it's all just temporary. I've had my share of dissagreements with people, hahaha, doesn't make me hate them or wish them gone from the forum. May I try to see how the comment was meant? The way I interpreted it, was that LaurElizabeth was not wishing or threatening anyone into hell. She was just telling that in her worldview (in which many people go to hell), which she believes to be the real one (not saying here that it's not, I am just trying to get this into perspective) it doesn't matter whether people believe in God or not, because hell is there anyway so if you don't believe in hell it does not make hell suddenly non-existent. Then her next reasoning was that if you don't know whether there is a hell or not, then why would you take the risk of ending up there if indeed it happen to exist?
  16. and it's now on newalbumreleases :D
  17. Wyrd replied to Brent's topic in The Lounge
Brent, why didn't you include the option 'dunno' or 'maybe' ? LaurElizabeth, when you pray for people because they don't believe or not in the right way, how does that work? (I am not asking to critisize, I am just wondering about it, because I don't know how that works) Do you then pray to God to give us insight in how we should live? Or do you pray to God to not throw us in hell when we die? Or do you pray to God to let his spirit touch us? I have read this whole thread, I am just so curious to what people believe and how they feel about it and/or reason behind it. I guess it's tough to write your believe on here, because it's the internetz... there might always be people saying something bad. Eh, don't know what I am trying to say. Maybe just that I like the conversations going on now and that I approve.
  18. Yeah :( I hoped that one sentense would be possible and understandable ... OK, so BRENT, Lory thinks she knows what you meant with your comment (but clearly she missed the undertone of irony) which I doubt she actually grasped, so when she tells me to ask you I know this is not getting me any closer to get my answer, so I'll evade her suggestion by trying to come up with a possible answer and hopefully either you or Lory can say if I was right. ....:inquisitive:.... Does 'just needs an ass' mean: A) She is so skinny that she has none. She should grow one. Eat more pizza. B) She wants Chris ass to hump. C) She needs a donkey. D) None of the above, I clearly just made a fool (ass) out of myself. WHICH ONE????????????????????????

  21. New songs on youtube! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkOJr0kBDiM]Dead Leaves[/ame] I wonder if their new CD might still make it into 2012??? :bomb:
  22. Lory, I still don't understand what you mean with 'just needs an ass'.
