I think the people above were not refering to the picture itself but the idea to use a picture of human brain pathways. I don't see the problem of using an image that's made by someone else. I don't think many artists make their own pictures or do you think that a graphic designer should at least have messed the picture up a bit to make it more authentic? I really like the idea of this image being the cover of the album :}

NME forgot some tracks that I can think of on top of my head, so I have no idea why to call it a complete songlist. Where's Brain Eno's An Ending? And Mike Oldfield's In Dulci Jubilo? And Vangelis' Charoits of Fire? I am sure there's missing more then. And I find it questionable that only comments below the article show up that praise Arctic Monkeys instead of what I see here, that most people are like 'WTF? That's random" No, instead I read posts like: "The only band that can make the Beatles sound better! Arctic monkeys !" "Best band around now, Arctic Monkeys, doing the best band of all time, Beatles, music" You cannot tell me that only these kins of posts were posted, surely they filtered the less positive posts out. Aw yeah sorry, that's what I meant with hearing Muse coming by. It was only their music, not them of course. OMG, I just said to the people watching with me that I hoped Underworld would come by as well and just then the tune of Born Slippy started to play and scene's from the movie Trainspotting were shown. it made me very happy. Also that they used Mike Oldfield's music. His famous Tubular Bells, but also In Dulci Jubilo (which is actually just a remake by Oldfield but originally comes from Germany :thinking:). And that the man himself was there to play the guitar! JLASDUHDKANEKJAHDKJBAKBD :D Hahaha yeah, I loved that part too. You quoted someone who did not attack Radiohead fans and then offended not only her but basically all Muse fans. I wouldn't phrase that like you just did :shrug: Personally I think kicking back works better if you do not attack the person who started the attack, but the attack itself. If they make a ridiculous claim, just show how ridiculous it is. I am very excited to hear news about Muse’ new album. Their last album has certainly not disappointed me. Did look at the poster's posts in the past and they are all about how much Muse sucks and their fans are retarted and about how great Radiohead is and that this is a fact though the guy never comes up with 'proof' - mentioning that there is so much proof on the web is not the same.

I think violetsparks didn't say anything that is 'wrong on so many levels'. Music taste and appreciation has to do with personal opinion. There's no right or wrong in music. Even when acclaimed music sites give a positive opinion about a band's music. and how on earth did you get to the 'Muse gets free pass'? As if she is trying to use biased arguments to come to a defense of the music of Muse, like whut did I even just type down? Anyway. How does one measure objectively a song's originality and falseness? What is that even, 'falseness' of music? How do you objectively come to a conclusion that a band is failing miserably in all those aspects? or is this subjective anyway? Is this your opinion or is this a fact of life that Muse fans are just not capable of comprehending? Anyway, it gets 'wrong' imo when you get to a personal opinion - she said "I don't believe" - and then say it is wrong 'but not suprising from fan of Muse'. Degrading fans of Muse like that, says more about you than about Muse fans ;) But hey, I guess that just means that we don't agree :P

^ Cotton works best, if there is too much elastic vibers in the shirt the print might stretch too much and wear off quickly or even rip apart. My personal experience is that 5% elastine/elastomeer/spandex and 95% coton works still fine. You can use regular T-shirt markers or more fancy T-shirt sharpers and stretch the T-shirt in a stretcher to make the drawing look better, like below: Here's a website for more (creative) options of handmaking one. Stencilling/Printing a digital design I find the easiest way nowadays. Online or in CopyShops you can print a T-shirt quite cheap if you are willing to spend some time in finding cheap ones. The shops let you bring your own T-shirt if you want and give you a discount then. When you bring your own T-shirt, you know for sure it will fit and that it is the type/color shirt you want. Especially when you want to make a T-shirt with graffiti style and many colors, I would do it the digital way :)

It's just a damn shame that it is with such a bad quality! The song is seriously distorted. Perhaps to make it sound more 'real' or to cover up that this is not Chris singing or because someone secretly recorded it by phone while Coldplay was rehersing? Who knows ...
