I never understood the song that way. For me it sounds the stolen car is just an examples of the rebellious acts this person does, because he is a rebel. The song is about young people who oppose the current authority. Therefore I think a title like ‘Rebel’ would suit nicely.

No, I don't think that's what chrismartin_ meant. She didn't talk about the song Moses nor about why Chris got a baby. I think she just wanted to suggest that the lyrics to the song Princess of China might have been written while he was thinking of his children. She also said that this was the way she thought about it, so that's even what you are saying yourself 'interpret the songs of fictions'. She just gave her interpretation of a song that we don't really know what it's about. :)

Yesterday I made brownies, classic cake and strawberry pie. the brownies and pie were the most loved by the visiters. I'd go for brownies. They are easy to make and most people love it. I also bought the ingredients already for space cookies except the cannabis. The cookies (or cake) are good if you heat up the butter with some cannabis and then take the cannabis out. The active compounds are now dissolved in the butter and with that you can make cookies or cake. But I don't know how this would work out if you're not in the Netherlands :(

Oh, yeah I did look it up on urban dictionary to see if others had been joking about a guy named James. Apparently there is a Jamesism in there, but it's about some lazy guy. I'm sure this stuff will get deleted fast or not get through anyway, because it's not allowed to put someone in there unless he's famous. It wouldn't get voted up anyway. Jamesism won't exist for long on urban dictionary :( BUT JAMES IS STILL CREEPY AS HELL

A person suffering Jamesism is preoccupied with solely thinking, talking and dreaming about his dreamgirl, who for sure isn’t interested in him. He has the tendency to buy her cars, accuse people of being a Nazi when they tell him to let the girl alone and videotape people –preferably of the same gender – naked just in case he ever feels the need to blackmail them. Example: “Wow, what’s up with that dude?” “He can’t help it: he has Jamesism, some kind of OCPD or sumting.”

I know he wrote "I'm a sensitive man and I care a lot about other people's opinion of me" and "Because hurting your feelings is the last thing I want" BUT HE REALLY DOESN'T CARE If he doesn't want to hurt her, then why does he keep on creeping? I don't know if he is a psychopath, but he is for sure creepy as hell. I think he has a disorder named Jamesism (DO NOT BELIEVE URBAN DICTIONARY ON THIS). This is a very serious condition :|

Thanks for correcting the Daniel story, I am not really familiar with those biblical stories :S Wow, and I didn't know hazard also meant bet. Sucks to not have English as a native language sometimes. I just looked up the definitions of hazard and you’re right, it might well be hazard as in bet/chance. I might now go to deep into it and speculate way too much, but right now I think I can place the drunken hazard better if it seen as an unsteady chance (which seems a pleonasm, because the nature of chance is unsteady). I don’t think drunken should be used as intoxicated too, but more like the effect of intoxication. So the hazard is unsteady by nature, and hazard might mean chance, so he feels like Daniel in a lion’s den (I think we can agree on that at least) and he feels like this is due to a happening/situation involving chance. If he is rebelling Mylo here, then it might be his rebelling that got him into trouble (rebelling is the risky thing here) and this lead to him feeling like Daniel in a loin’s den. - Of course it could be something totally different too. I was also thinking about his lost friend who could be the one who is in the loin’s den because Mylo did something stupid (the drunken hazard).

I think the gravity theme is related to the losing theme. He feels lost, which is another way of saying that he feels that his feet are not on the ground. This is not literally, of course, but means that he doesn’t understand his own feelings and thoughts. The gravity is a way of expressing this feeling of losing touch of the ground. Is there anyone that thinks that the rebel boy/girl couple theme (probably unconsciously) has to do with 1984 even more than the White Rose Movement? They sing about the one eye following you (Big Brother) and how they rebel against society like Winston (= Mylo) is in the book. Winston has this thing going on with Julia (=princess of China/Xyloto) who he thinks is a rebel too, but their relationship is troublesome to say the least.

My bad too, I reread my post and now I get where the confusion comes from; I didn't say explicitly that according to him people liking the album are dumb. It could be read both ways. I kind of hope Nature comes back to this. But knowing the other posts he has posted on here, I doubt he will.

Why oh why did they publish lyrics that differ from what it sung on the CD? Someone ought to ask the Oracle (not me, she never answers me :bigcry:) Yep, I also think that this person sees himself as Daniel in the den. The name Daniel makes a huge different with any person that could be in the den. Ruben made a painting named "Daniel in the Lion's Den" which is about Daniel from the Bible. The king was angry because Daniel kept on believing in God while the King prohibited him to do so. So the king threw Daniel in a pit filled with lions, so the loins would shred him to pieces. But the lions would not touch him so the king let him out after a while. (correct me if I tell the story wrong) In Ruben's painting Daniel is sitting in the den surrounded by lions. Daniel doesn't know yet that the lions mean no harm to him, so he is praying fiercefully to his God to survive this hazardous situation. It is this moment I think Chris is referring to in his lyrics. Mylo is our rebel hero (like Daniel was a rebel in his time) thrown in the den by society. He is feeling right there what Daniel must have felt when he was thrown in the den. (still don't know where 'drunken' fits in though)

Oh wait, I am not calling them blinded fools! Read more carefully, I just asked if Nature wanted to know why people love the album or if he just wants to tell people that they have to stop loving the album because they are blinded fools according to him. It wouldn't make any sense for me to call people that like the album blinded fools, because I am one of the people that really likes the album! I just didn't want to post my reasons for liking it if Mr. Nature here is just telling us we are idiots (or blind fools or whatever, you get it). All cool again?

Yes, people of 23 and 33 having a romantically (sexually) relationship is kinda hard to believe while a 7 year old daughter having a romantically (sexually) relationship with her 33 old dad or her 5 year old brother makes much more sense. :| The age of the singers doesn't matter since the song is not about Rihanna and Chris but about two fictive people who broke up.
