  1. It's so dark that it almost looks like nighttime, but it's not even 3:30 in the afternoon. Rain and thunderstorms; softball practice has been cancelled yet again! So we are really going to suck at our first game next week, methinks.

I've never run into that situation before, someone claiming they were abused (in online discussions). :| Although I used to work with someone who was a royal conniving backstabbing bitch and she blamed it on insecurities as a child and her father teaching her to do whatever she needed to do to get ahead in life.
  3. Yeah I'd listen to it. I can understand not wanting to read other people's opinions of the song before I listened to it though.
  4. Yeah I don't think he meant it in a bad way
  5. * job opening *
  6. har har theyz cantz spellz
  7. My cat annoyed me this morning. Before I wake up, for some reason she likes to stand beside me and then hop over my head onto my pillow. It bugs me because she often lands on my hair and her feet pull on it. I tried to block her from doing it this morning, but she was in mid-jump and so she lost her balance and then put her feet down to regain her balance but at that point she was over my face. So her back foot landed in my mouth and her claws ripped my lip open in two spots. :bigcry:
  8. Dude that sounds like something I'd say. :|
  9. aww I was hoping it would take longer for someone to notice
  10. Have they completely lost their meaning/ambiance/whatever? It used to be something special, but now concert attendees just expect it. And since people expect it, the musicians just plan to do it anyway and it's essentially in the setlist. It just seems like it's to the point where it's a bit of a charade. Or something. Thoughts?
  11. No that wasn't what I was saying. I was saying that people will just keep checking back hoping that they will update the video, not that playing it a certain amount of times will 'unlock' the sound or anything.
  12. Because they want fans to keep playing it, checking back multiple times each day hoping sound will appear, so they can get as many views as possible on the video. Pretty clever actually.
  13. And Eminem has the ability to make words that don't rhyme, rhyme, so maybe they can go have a cuppa tea at Lollapalooza and chat for awhile.
  14. I  MS Paint
  15. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4792616&postcount=13 mmmmmph
  16. My initial gut reaction would be what Mike said, but I need to think about this more before that can be my definitive response.
  17. :awesome: ahh, that makes sense
  18. and that annoys you because...
  19. We've had an excellent response so far! One more week left for people to submit entries for the drawing!
  20. I suspect they'll probably change the "theme" of the site first before they post any video. It would be kind of silly to have a video with them introducting anything related to LP5 whilst there's still a butterfly wallpaper.
  21. I don't know I didn't peek underneath to check
  22. kilts are kewl, some guy at my high school wore his occasionally
  23. :disappointed: So I actually don't think better with music in the background? But that way I'm not distracted by random conversations or ducks fighting on my porch.
  24. {merged another thread with this, sorry for lame post}
