I suppose that might be nifty, but it would be at an awkward point... there may be too many people twiddling their thumbs and yawning at the Viva stuff. Plus they got rid of some of their gear already (like the Viva guitar and specially-tuned '42' guitar, helloooooooooo). Maybe they can try out some of their new material? But they can't try out too much of it because then the release of LP5 wouldn't be as exciting... I dunno.

I'm not sure why everyone is gagging at the $100 price tag. I'm guessing the materials cost $20, at least. I don't have experience in regard to how long it would take to make it, but I'm going to guess 10 hours. So if you take off the $20 materials, that means he's charging $8 an hour for labor. That's barely over minimum wage. I'm not saying I'd buy it, but when you break it down... it's reasonable.

Okay, so this morning on the news... BP's previous estimate was 5,000 barrels of oil leaking per day. 42 gallons per barrel, so that's 210,000 gallons each day. NOW, after sticking that dinky tube equivalent of a straw in the pipe, that little thing is bringing up more than that much, just by itself. So the new estimates are 20,000 to 100,000 barrels per day (wide range, I know)... so that's between 840,000 to 4.2 million gallons per day. INSANE. Plus the news said the chemical dispersants being sprinkled on the water are much more toxic than originally indicated. Lovely.

Got it today! :dance: I want to read it, but I really should be studying for my exam this Saturday... the exam that I should have studied 250 hours for and I've only studied, maybe, 1. :whip: I took a quick peek at the pictures and a few words on random pages.
