Whenever I see a "fragile" sticker, all I can think about is that scene from "A Christmas Story" when the father receives the package he won and sees it written on the box, thinks it's a fancy italian word and pronounces it 'fra-JEEL-ay'.

I always assume it is appreciation when it is written/typed. The only time I would think otherwise is if someone says it in a sarcastic tone. Actually, I just say "thanks bunches".

When that all happened a few weeks ago, some people who purchased travel insurance were interviewed and they commented on how thankful they were that they purchased it; so, it would cover any trouble caused by that annoying volcano that can't make up its mind. I think the distinction of why it was covered (if "acts of God" aren't usually covered), is because the volcano didn't actually do anything directly, if that makes any sense. The airlines made a decision to cease flights as a result of the volcano. But that's just a guess. The morning of the 4th. I might have to hang around the lobby of the hostel for a little while since check-in isn't until 11:00am and you can't access your room until 2:00pm. I couldn't find any flights that would get me there in the afternoon, oh well. Plus I have to leave kind of early on the last day, since the departing flight is a little after 9:00am, which means I would have to leave the hostel pretty early to get to the airport in plenty of time. It was either that or wait until the next day, which I couldn't really do.

I like how they put a big X next to "flag". Uh, yeah, they MORE than flagged that thing! Once you are done jumping up and down/drooling/breathing sighs of relief, make sure you post lots more pics. :D

Finally got my plane tickets this week! :dance: I should have bought them when I first started looking online last month though, because they already went up by a few hundred dollars! :uhoh2: Decided to get travel insurance with it to be on the safe side in case I run into, you know, A VOLCANO. :freak: But it covers a bunch of other stuff too, so it's worth it.

Is there any rhyme or reason to what kind of shipment "qualifies" for a duty invoice? I never received one, unless it was hidden amidst the address label on the package and I just didn't realize it.
