  1. As far as I know we are... I don't think it was with atease anyway, I think it was just with the regular messageboard linked on the band site. I don't think anybody from here thinks it is worthwhile to troll over there, although a few months ago some people from the Radiohead messageboard joined here to try to urge us to go at it (see page 5). There are lots of Radiohead fans on here anyway (including myself) so it seems a bit pointless to fight. :lips: Looking forward to when they announce the second leg on the tour so I can hit up Chicago or somewhere on the east coast...
  2. dude that's hilarious... yet simultaneously sadly typical
  3. I thought it was supposed to appear everywhere, on all channels (I couldn't tell because I wasn't near a TV or radio). What time zone are you in?
  4. Just a few more minutes until some people will think the world is about to end...
  5. Already have it stored foreverrrrr on DVR from the Palladia broadcast. :phu: I'll probably buy the iTunes digital version though when it is available in December. That reminds me, I still have a $25 iTunes gift card that I haven't used yet! Right now I just have the YouTube rip of The Daily Mail, so it's not the best quality.
  6. Even though it may seem official from the venue, those are ticket broker prices. The venue would only charge whatever Radiohead sets the prices at. Remember, these were just presale tickets... the bulk of the tickets will go on sale on Saturday, at normal (not inflated) ticket prices! Don't give up yet! :nice: And on a side note, I like how in the DVD announcement, when they talk about Staircase and The Daily Mail they say the songs "haven't been released yet". Key word there is "yet". I take that to mean there will be an official release of some sort with these songs soon...
  7. LOLOL I don't know when they started the WASTE presale but it doesn't look like there are any tickets left. edit: According to some reports, the presale started at 6am.
  8. *moved to WoM*
  9. The board has default censorship that doesn't allow certain words to be displayed. So even though SaltH2O isn't a bad word, when you spell it out indirectly contains a bad word, hence the middle part won't show even if you type it out. :D (That particular phrase is more offensive across the pond than it is over here, if that helps.)
  10. When you start getting bills addressed in your name, that you have to pay for; and that (typically) means you've got a job that pays for those bills. Although technically I was an adult at 18, I didn't really entirely feel like one because not much had changed. I was still living with my parents, but instead of going to high school down the road I just drove 5 more miles to college.
  11. Side A: Side B: "oh" appears 71 times So that's a total of 156 OH's on MX. my OH my
  12. Sure, go ahead! :escaping2:
  13. dude I laughed so hard Anyway, I'm not like "omg I need to have kids I want them sooo much"; but, I also don't want to one day regret not having a kid. So which one would I regret more: not having a kid and wishing that I had, or having a kid and wishing that I hadn't? I think I would regret the first option more, so yeah at some point I'll probably (try to) have one. Wow, that sounds so... logical and completely lacking emotion. :|
  14. what part of her back is giving her trouble
  15. this is SO sig-worthy :bomb:
  16. I gave Lore some "homework" a long time ago, but I don't know if she ever did it.
  17. Whoa, I'm kind of surprised at these reactions. First off, media pressure on jurors doesn't hold much weight, considering what recently happened in the Casey Anthony trial. She was acquitted of murdering her daughter, and people were shocked, this case was almost bigger than the Michael Jackson / Conrad Murray case over here. If media pressure couldn't "force" those people to say she was guilty, I wouldn't expect it to be a reason here. One thing to keep in mind, the doctor wasn't charged with murder; he probably would have been found not guilty if that had been the charge. Being accused of manslaughter is not the same thing. Not to mention there are different levels of manslaughter, voluntary and involuntary. Basically, being accused of involuntary manslaughter is the lowest thing on the totem pole in regard to being involved with someone's death. Yes, Michael had addiction issues, other issues, etc. But that does not negate or excuse the fact that the doctor was negligent in his actions on SO MANY levels, and that negligence contributed to Michael's death. Involuntary, he didn't mean for it to happen; manslaughter, someone's death resulted from his actions/inactions (not premeditated/murder). The maximum sentence is 4 years, he'll probably get about half that.
  18. Are you looking for standing or seated? Or does it not matter?
  19. It's nice to know I'm not the only person who thinks that. (nothing personal, Violet) omg Lore posted in the Radiohead thread LOREDIOHEAD
  20. Howard Stern can be extremely rude. Although I admit, I haven't listened to his show in several years.
  21. Well, that's a disaster waiting to happen. Everybody grab some popcorn!
  22. It's like they're hitting up the south and the middle of the U.S. first. Wonder when they will plan to hit up the east and west coast and the midwest? *please come to Detroit* Although, my husband and I were planning on taking some sort of vacation in mid-March, and he's always saying how bad he wants to go to Arizona, so... He dragged me to an ICP concert several years ago (when we were just dating at the time), so I think it's only fair if I drag him to a Radiohead concert in return. edit: btw, he recently told me that if I had been listening to Radiohead when we were first dating, he would have broken up with me. D: How lame is that?
  23. Your thoughts are misguided in regard to what you miss... you don't really miss him, you just miss the kicks you get out of arguing with him.
  24. Considering this tour will be around the holidays, I think there is a good chance they'll perform it. That would be nice. I can't believe it's been almost a full year since the Christmas Lights video shoot. Ahh, to be a "homeless video ho" again...
  25. wow, somebody is a bit jet-lagged... or something
