Ok, here is my review!!! Track 1 - Really nice opening. It's very chill...kind of a tropical vibe (maybe it's just me!). I love when the electronic instrumental bit kicks in halfway through. A little on the long side, but a good song. Track 2 - I really liked this one. The band sounds familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it. I like the cool African safari kind of feel. The lyrics "a pig has to lay in its piss" made me laugh :P (At least I think that's what he said!) Track 3 - This one is alright, but I'm not a huge fan. It was very monotone the whole way through in that it didn't change keys or have a definite chorus or anything. It sounded like a folk song or ballad? I don't know what he's saying, but I would guess that he's telling a story of some sort? Track 4 - I feel like I've heard this before. Maybe on a tv show or in a movie. The singer's voice sounds very familiar, I think I've probably heard the band before. I really like the beat, and the tune is quite catchy. I like the guitar solo and the chorus especially. Good pick! Track 5 - The singer has a nice voice and the instrumentals are pretty. I like it. Track 6 - The lyrics intrigued me. But is he saying "whistle" or "pistol" or both? Either way, good lyrics. I really loved the tune, and it was really nice when it kicked in towards the end. Track 7 - Love it! Gorgeous instrumentals, catchy beat. Great lyrics too. I was tapping my toes the whole time. :) Track 8 - Super catchy beat. The lyrics are cute too, awwe. Track 9 - Very pretty instrumental piece. Lovely guitar. A nice break to transition to the next half of the tape. Track 10 - Start off normal enough...but wow, when it hit 1 minute! Love it! So haunting, I love the layering of everything. I'm interested to know who sings this. Track 11 - I feel like this song could be a very dramatic ballroom dance of some sort. :P Ooooh I LOVE LOVE LOVE the trombone. :heart: Ahhh! Track 12 - Very mellow, nice lyrics. Love the strings. Track 13 - Hmm, kind of the fence with the song. I don't mind it, but I don't think I would listen to it on its own; it seems better suited as background music. Not bad though. Track 14 - Very chill. I like her voice. I am interested to see who this is because she sounds very familiar. Track 15 - I really like this one. Good lyrics and very catchy. Definitely going to keep this one! Track 16 - Great song. Again, I liked the lyrics and the tune. Track 17 - Lovely piano in this one. Very simple song, but I really like it. Track 18 - The beat is cool, but I'm not really a huge fan of the song overall. Maybe after a few more listens it will grow on me. Track 19 -Didn't like it much at first, but I really liked it by half way through when it hit that haunting forte bit. Fantastic. Track 20 - :laugh3: Ok, this is definitely from a musical. Possibly a movie. I feel like I should know what it is from but I don't! Nice closer, haha! Great tape overall, I really enjoyed listening to it and will definitely be keeping the majority of the songs. Thank you :) I can't wait to see the tracklisting!

I love Adele, she's amazing! So far I've just listened to her songs on youtube...I need to go out and buy an iTunes card so I can get her albums. :bomb:

Haha I know, I was cheering but I don't have a loud cheering type voice so probably no one heard me. :P And the fact that I was in the nosebleeds didn't help...(wait, you were too!!! Weren't we like, one section away? :o)

There are free and legal downloads all over the internet, so when you find one, post it here! Lots of bands give away free downloads if you sign up for their email list, like them on Facebook, etc. so this is a way to let other people know.

I'm going to listen to other people's mix tapes while I wait for mine! I hope I get it tomorrow :bomb:
