I had my first woodtick today. It's funny because I was out for a walk in the woods with some friends, and we were talking about how we were glad it wasn't tick season. I mentioned that I had never had one before, so it's ironic that I would find one attached to my head tonight. I'm never going outside again.

It just means that the water level reaches its peak. I think for us it's late this week :uhoh: My friend's house is in the flood zone, so if their house floods this week she is staying with me :) (not that I want it to flood :P)

Haha yep it's pretty bad. The tennis courts and soccer fields and a golf course in our town are all by the river, so I guess no one will be able to play this summer. :(

The wedding airs at 2 am here, so I definitely will not be watching! I'm not really interested anyway. I don't believe the monarchy is important in this day in age.

*creeps* You haven't seen all the photos and stuff on the news? :stunned: It's soooo bad! The Assiniboine flooded in Brandon already but it hasn't crested yet as far as I know so it will likely get worse. I drove past some parks today and the buildings/gazebos are under water. :\

The people you think are boring might actually turn out to be cool, so I'm sure you will be able to make friends with them too. :shrug: I stayed at home for first year, but I'm transferring to a bigger school next year. I haven't found out yet if I get a single room or a double!

I play piano so, like, 12 years worth of songs from lessons, and then a lot of stuff that I learned for fun. And then a bunch of jazz songs on trombone, and a ton of stuff from school band on baritone.
