  1. It sells all sorts in different countries haha. S'all greasy though.
  2. I thought you meant they weren't 24 hour and therefore were shut.
  3. But not healthy and you could make a better one yourself for a fraction of the price. I have the Subway melt. Three meats and cheese on hearty Italian.
  4. Spaghetti? I don't think I'd like fast food spaghetti.
  5. You should get drunk in the morning more often
  6. No worries. Keep up the good work. It's great when you start noticing the changes. It really spurs you on.
  7. No, I know what you mean. That could have something to do with it.
  8. I still wouldn't want them to do that. But yes, if they did they would have to do that.
  9. 3 star general William Odom, formerly President Reagan's NSA Director, wrote: Perpetual War Former U.S. President George W. Bush articulated the goals of the "war on terror" in a September 20, 2001 speech, in which he said it "will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated." In that same speech, he called the war "a task that does not end", and was used by President Bush in his 2006 State of The Union address. Terminology Linguist George Lakoff of the Rockridge Institute has argued that there cannot literally be a war on terror, since terror is an abstract noun. "Terror cannot be destroyed by weapons or signing a peace treaty. A war on terror has no end."
  10. They can do, but if the government want to do something they will just do it. Especially if they feel as though they have to behave in a way because of their political leanings - for example they aren't going to act in a way that their rivals traditionally do, even if it might be for the very best, simply because they are reliant on votes from their core voters and the ones who put money into the party.
  11. I like the, generally. Just this baffled me. You get what you pay for haha. Same with RyanAir. I like them. Just isn't luxury that's all. Never had any problems with them though.
  12. Haha, why did you specify teenage?
  13. Can't argue with a team who play in blue and white.
  14. I don't know, if I had done I wouldn't be bothered. I'd just download the rest. And if I had a physical copy of it I'd want it to be the original, not some special edition.
  15. I doubt they have the true direction and nous to make a difference, looking at it from the outside. Protests don't usually amount to too much in the West. Just look at all the protests that have happened recently over here. Anti-War, environmental, banking crisis, student fees. Nothing much was done about any of them. The ones who came closest were France with the pension row, and there was plenty of actually rioting with that one. This one seems to peaceful to change anything, not that I don't think they should be peaceful.
  16. I don't mind it, I am aware that the meat I eat is murdered. I still eat it. Meh, Subway might be better but it is still overrated compared to a good sandwich. It's the best of a bad bunch and still mega unhealthy if you want one that actually tastes of something.
  17. Fucking ridiculous and surely against the Hippocratic Oath? Especially with regards to the ones who specifically said it was because they are patients where complications could arise. On a more positive note good luck! It really is rewarding. If you feel hungry, fill up on healthier things like fruit. Eat regularly (3 meals a day to keep your stomach working - starving yourself isn't healthy and doesn't work in the long run), and if you do need to snack just have something healthy. Go for things that aren't processed and things that your stomach has to actually work to break down, like seeded bread. This keeps your stomach continually working and it should shift the excess weight/inches whilst not leaving you feeling hungry. Exercise regularly, but as long as you keep to a good diet you don't actually have to do all that much. The more you do the better of course.
  18. It does make me laugh when it says things like 'McDonald's defended Ronald...' The McDonald's in Morocco made me stop eating it here. It actually tasted nice as it was halal meat and not filled with loads of crap, and because of this it also filled you up as didn't have the addictive chemicals pumped into it to keep you hungry, or at least not as many as them. It meant that if you had McDonal's for dinner at the beach, you only had a snack for the evening meal. You'd never be able to do that in this country. You'd be starving after about two hours. The only down side in Morocco was that the picture on the paper that goes on top of your tray was of loads of cows with their throats slit being prayed over :laugh3:
  19. So how would you find a way to make people who do look after their bodies don't have to foot the bill of the people who do? That's the tricky thing.
  20. Best band I've seen live were CocoRosie. I've seen them twice though, the first time was phenomenal, the second time was good. The second time they were playing a worse set in my eyes though. Other bands I've seen live who I really thought were great were Radiohead, The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Iggy Pop, Primal Scream, Smashing Pumpkins, Sparklehorse and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Bands I like who I would love to see live and feel they would be great from performances I've seen online are Bjork, Antony & The Johnsons, Beck, Flaming Lips, Portishead, Massive Attack, White Stripes (alas no more), Aphex Twin, then a few of the folky lot like Devendra Banhart, Department Of Eagles and Martin Grech.
  21. I'm interested...
  22. Yeah it's working. Well it isn't supposed to from what I can tell. I think it's basically that they put up some new privacy settings if you want them, blocking certain things. I think it must have gone wrong when they launched them and forced them on everyone (or perhaps just me) and you then had to restart your router to go back to normal. Pretty sure it wasn't supposed to happen. It's just you have the option to block those things if you want. I did get paranoid though since I've been researching torture recently in order to post on this board and thought soebody had thought I was a nutcase and tried to shut me down :laugh3:
