  1. To be honest, I'm not surprised it got locked. It is against the rules to call someone a psycho stalker, whether it is true or whether it is not and it will have been clamped down on before everyone starts arguing. Best to let it go.
  2. I would suggest you take it slow for a while, or indeed stop for a while. There is nothing to lose if you do. It is good that you are looking to educate yourself with alcohol and are concerned about your well being so well done for making the thread. I had something similar in December last year and I had to stop for six months until my liver recovered. With me I wasn't drinking too much over a short period, but over the years I'd drank only cider and whiskey and eventually it caught up with me. I think it would be important for you to understand how your body is affected by alcohol and where your limits are. In future stick to the same beverages and don't drink on an empty stomach. Other than that it does not sound as though you have a problem and any decision about stopping or cutting down will be made ultimately by yourself, and since you had the sense to make this thread I am confident you will do the best thing for yourself when you have looked into the effects it has had on your body.
  3. Pretty much everyone could if it was forced upon them, but voluntarily no I couldn't.
  4. I was actually trying to find a stream to watch 'An Idiot Abroad', the Karl Pilkington series. I have got my internet browser working again but I don't know for how long. There are trojans multiplying then being removed all the time :\ Haha, a height thread.
  5. Indeed. Incidentally, whilst I do not want to involve myself in the situation I would feel a lot more comfortable if there was greater transparency with what those in authority on this board do. I am not saying they are abusing their position, but they are creating confusion. They clearly care about this board, that is not the issue, but after deliberation they should come out and say exactly what they have decided, not cryptically but in full, and explain the situation so that people aren't left guessing and feeding off the scraps of others versions. Total transparency may not be possible since for example a person who reports a post should be kept anonymous, but an explanation behind what is going on would stop the paranoia and stem a lot of the back biting. Otherwise the board won't be all to different to what it was like before the board went down briefly with regards to the communication between those at the top and the regular posters. The lack of transparency there is what I believe fuelled the fires and I can see the same thing happening again at some point in the future. That is my view on things anyway.
  6. For the first time. Laaaame. Thought I would say since I don't have time to reply to VM's and PM's but didn't want you to think I was being ignorant. Not sure how often I'll be able to get on here till I have fixed it, probably not often at all. I'm on my parents laptop now but time is extremely limited. In positive news I am now 6ft. After losing a stone in weight in one month and doing loads more exercise, at the age of 22 and a half I have miraculously grown an inch and a tiny bit after not growing for the last 4 years! 6ft Sounds so much cooler than 5ft 11 :smug: I'll see you guys around as much as I can and I wish you all well and hope you are all happy. On a side note, vote Braddock in the Newcomer Thread. And the Perv Thread. Love for all
  7. Sweet. I look forward to it. Well of course education should come first. I'm getting it for the next year so it doesn't matter when you get yours first, I'll still be able to discuss it with you :) I wish you well in your studies!
  8. And I can also get them from meat, so I eat meat because it's tasty and I love hearing the screams of animals in my head whilst I chow down.
  9. sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
  10. Thems the tiniest nips ever.
  11. I like his 'Save the planet' rant. Soooooooooooooooooooo, vegetarians.
  12. George Carlin is a dude. I love his later standups.
  13. Well now I'm intrigued :p
  14. It's controversial, but I agree. This may be seen as hypocritical on my part since I was today posting about how I would eat pretty much any animal providing it was prepared properly. But I find it unfair to shoot the monkey. I could understand if they caged it, because it killed a human, but shooting seems harsh. On the other hand if it had killed my baby I would have no trouble killing the monkey, and perhaps if I was in the situation where I had seen the horrific injuries to the baby I would have shot it (not that I can ever imagine myself having a gun). From an outside perspective I say it's harsh and unfair, but then if I was in the situation I don't know how I would react.
  15. Hopefully, this whole charade will be hilarious.
  16. Ahh, OK, I thought you were being sarcastic and I was missing something, when I read what you said about the government in the first post. Hopefully this tragedy will lead to better security. Don't worry, I knew you weren't laughing at the article. I just found it interesting that that was what you highlighted from the article first and foremost. I was expecting some mention of the tragedy in your post. But of course I knew you were laughing something else. I find it strange that the monkey was shot. And also that they managed to track it down.
  17. The Blur ones are best, as in my favourites, because they talk about the music quite a bit. The Mew ones are the best when it comes to the derogatory definitions of the word.
  18. I disagree. I think it highlights that in certain places you have monkeys in your country and that sometimes they go in people's houses. Is this not true? I't is not saying the monkey's behave this way towards humans often, just that in this incident it did. It mentions nothing about jungles or underdeveloped housing. The article is about the tragic death of a baby, not a criticism of your country.
  19. I'm in for tonight!
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-11483171 See link for footage of the incident - The shooting is not filmed but the sounds are available
  21. Ahh good, then he is not unknown :) And thank you, hopefully we can win!
