one of the worst mistakes people make is thinking pants are boxers. pants are trousers or jeans or anything like that. if pants were boxers why would there be underpants (which obviously go underneath the pants - clue in the name)?

muse aren't known for their attractiveness they are known for their awful lyrics and pomposity but yeah

my point was the only people i know who like this band are teenage girls, and all i ever hear about them is how cute they are, not their musical ability. now there is nothing wrong with teenage girls but if that is your sole target market i can't imagine them to be amazing. but like i said, turns out some boys do like them so i was proved wrong. i'll have to keep an eye out to see if i can spot male fans irl since as of yet it's proved impossible round these parts.

i do have an ounce of respect for them though after they apologised for what they had become last year, saying they hated it too. hopefully that means any future releases will be a return to form

do any guys like this band? not meaning to offend but i don't see any real substance in them and people seem more interested in their appearance. it's like sigur ros if you take away the musical beauty to me :confused:

pablo honey has a few good tracks on but the one thing it does is give me hope that even average bands can become the best thing since the beatles providing they have a bit of re-invention every so often. pablo honey was alright for a listen or two, the bends was very decent (let down by the none album tracks other than bulletproof, since the majority of them were a bit to close to cockrock at times and a lot of the riffs now sound a bit like they could be used by the darkness) and then okc onwards is genius.

it kind of annoys me that she makes a big deal out of the fact that she isn't attractive and shoves it down everyones throats. pink did the 'oh my god i'm a little bit different looking and i don't have big boobs but i'm still an independent woman' a while back and it was annoying then, all she has done has found a different genre. plus everyone makes claims that it's amazing that pop music is accepting somebody not focused on looks. problem being that the fact that she isn't attractive and is different to the rest has become one of her main selling points which makes her as bad as the rest for concentrating on image over actual substance. her best bet would have been not to play up to her image at all and just concentrate on the music if she was that talented. it also kind of annoys me that everyone is going crazy because she writes her own music, forgetting that the music she is writing isn't very good. writing catchy music is pretty easy, and if it wasn't her that was writing it she'd be the same as all the rest of them. i honestly wouldn't mind if her nose fell off.
