Yeah, the Lolla version of HLH is great, especially the MX portion and the "no we won't let 'em take control" part.

Everybody keeps saying that it must be better than Charlie Brown if it's being released first, but I disagree. They said they were originally going to release CB but since it was what people expected they decided to release Paradise first.

Why do you say that? Chris sounds better than ever...

This thread is about what song titles sound cool and what we think they might sound like either based on the title or other things we've heard about the song. The title DOES make it sound sort of like a stupid thread, but I don't see anything wrong with talking about song titles. Is there something more important that we should be talking about or something???

They'll never be on any Coldplay album... ...because they deserve their own album!

Well maybe the album title was planned to be MX but then they started second guessing it or it wasn't technically "official" yet...

:D I do that with my arms all the time without thinking about it and it freaks people out. I never really thought it was weird, but seeing this guys do it makes me see why people are grossed out...

I've always loved the title Alien Radio. I actually was looking at the Coldplay timeline yesterday and read something from 1999 where I think it was Guy who said "Getting played on the radio felt very alien." and I was like :D

^So? He meant that this song, in it's current state as far as he or any of us have heard, is in his opinion better than any Arcade Fire song. Maybe later he'll revise that to "HLH live is better than any arcade fire song" but I really don't think it matters that we don't have a studio version yet... Just saying, not trying to be rude or anything :D

So Cleggy said that the piano outro is from the Peanuts Christmas special or something, does anybody know if that's true or where Cleggy heard that?

Still don't think HLH has effects... Maybe backing vocals or effects on the backing vocals. But I think Chris' lead vocals will be normal...

Agreed that I like people to use there fame as a platform for something more important. I honestly see nothing wrong with saying "lets make a better world, dont be a bad person..." when that type of simple sentence can actually reach thousands of people and make a difference. I don't know, just having fame and not using it to better the world but instead just taking in the benefits isn't very respectable to me. But as far as pushing republican or democratic views or whatever I suppose I can see where he's coming from. Of course I dont hate anybody for saying "I'm a republican".
