well even though fix you is my favorite song, i think viva is my favorite album. as a whole the album just seems to bleak to me, but i do love many of those songs. i love swallowed in the sea but it does seem a little to unoriginal. the hardest part got a little old to me, talk is still pretty good, speed of sound reminds me too much of clocks for some reason (but i like speed of sound more).

i wish theyd just release everything they finish, even if its just online or if they just purposely leaked it that would be INCREDIBLE. i just dont see what good its doing throwing these songs away forever, songs that even though coldplay deem them unreleasable theyre still better than Justin Biebers or lady gagas best song

not a terrible idea, but if they dont wanna release it lets just trust their judgement right? i mean theres probably a hundred songs they never released that were finished, Famous Old Painters is no different except the fact that we no about it (and the fact that its got like the coolest name EVER)

i wish R#42 wouldve just came out and said something specific like "it wont be out until at least july" because they must no we were expecting it to be before that.

well i dont think its selfish, i mean they do this for us not for themselves. its not like releasing the album now is depriving them of anything, only giving us something and isnt that the point? and its not that any of us here are saying "screw u trying to do a better job! just give us what uve got!" were saying "man i wish they already had finalized the album cause i LOVEEEEE coldplay sooo much."

thing is, their summer is filled with festivals. so what work are they gonna be getting done during the summer. it seems like theyd be going back to the studio in autumn with nothing different from when it was spring, but for some reason they cant release it in spring? wtf?

i just dont see how they can play the worlds biggest festival without all their old viva stuff. no jackets or instruments. i mean like R#42 said "the worlds vida has been vivad"...u cant viva the worlds vida twice! they have to be doing new stuff. what sux is that autumn is so far away from these festivals that LP5 on hard copy wont be exciting aanymore because weve all been listening to crudy live recordings for months once it comes out :/

im just positive itll be out by summer. they already hung up their viva tricks so theyre not gonna play another huge gig without new songs, themes, and effects. especially not glastonbury

Ode came on my ipod one morning while i was brushing my teeth and i couldnt help but start laughing histarically because i instantly remembered that the song was in my dreams the night bfore. we were at a cldplaying listening party doing karaoke and picked Ode. that made ode the third coldplay song to be in my dreams. Yellow, VLV, Ode. weird order...

honestly i think they do. i think we may be looking too far into this, we dont no if majestic is a word phil would or wouldnt use so lets calm down about his word choice. if he would have called their music "manure" we wouldve thought the album was called "manure mvement"...which sounds like a very slow album...

LOL!! but to honestly answer this guys question, no i doubt this is theyre last album. Never (seriously NEVER) take anything Chris says to be true because hes always sarcastic when it comes to these things.

because we no for a fact that didnt happen. even just months ago chris called it a concept album and its not even more. these guys go back and forth all the time so until they reach their final product they dont no what the universal theme is. for example... their idea couldve been to make another album like VLV, but they ended up with something like Parachutes because thats just how they work.

well, R42 has a new LP5 looking thing that says "42" on his blogs....so...thats an LP5 look. and how could theyve decided their look for LP5 ifthey havent fnished makin it yet? right? maybe? idk...

i guess maybe....but 42 hasnt even known them as long and it seems like Debs has the best memory so i doubt it was anyone else's remembering...cause the only people who would even no is probably phil and chris is they can remember at all... i wonder if she ever asks the boys a question that she cant answer, doubtful but it would be cool to see a question answered with "well, Jonny just told me that the answer to ur question is...."
