  1. ** deathly confused **
  2. But what if it is true? I don't think any of us have any way of knowing one way or another ... ... and in the end it doesn't really matter. I honestly could care less how much Coldplay want money. Doesn't matter to me. If they have used it as motivation for their music, targeting a certain audience, I'm sure people will get tired of them as their crowd will eventually move away from their music. But we don't know if or when that will happen.
  3. I'm sure there are worse things than being Justin. You could be one of the "other guys" from his former group. They don't even have real names anymore. They're just "other guys."
  4. ima keep it real

  6. Actually, I don't know anything about the disease itself ... I'm in informatics. I give access to information. I dont actually KNOW the information :D
  7. I can see the venue from my apartment. That place is mine! :D
  8. I got my Travis tix in the mail today :D
  9. Talib Kweli is pretty well known. It's probably best to assume that somebody who knows about hip hop is familiar with him than the other way around.
  10. Plaques, but it's not really my field of expertise. I know that a lot of studies are being done into other possible causes, but it seems to me that an explanation that sees those as ancillary causes is more plausible at this point. OHhhhhh! first off...howdy, Richard, and welcome back. I only guessed about that UC-SD part, but I guessed right, ...ermm, I guess. Actually, PBS just recently had a show on Alz... and it was amazing to watch a part of it. And yep, they were discussing plaques, and how this substance is so small that we still can't see it. So basically, there is research on to try to find a chemical that will go into those parts of the brain, bind to plaques for a short time and make them "visible" and then un-bind and get out of the system w/out causing any harm to the brain. Then, the doctors would at least start to know what it is that's causing the disease. They'd see their enemy, as it were. Then it will be easier to thwart that enemy. I'm just very bad in biology and stuff like that, but otherwise, this subject is very interesting! The tape of this program has been making the rounds at work. I haven't seen it yet, though.
  11. I'm not a big fan of changing names ... but then again since i have the work-aspect to my msn use it doesn't serve me as well.
  12. OK - that make me laugh out loud. Thanks, Ginger. Honestly, that made my night.
  13. I wish I had the gaul to scratch my ass in public. I'm just not that daring.
  14. She's got skillz, yo ... and possibly slightly more time to devote to the board. Not everybody can be like Gaby and myself .. posting from work all the time.
  15. Yeah ... I pretty liberally use block. Sometimes it's just necessary ... like a verse in a Jay-Z rhyme.
  16. I hate having to rub my eyes. It's just annoying to me. So I guess this would be the right thread.
  17. re: Alzheimer's Disease?
  18. I admit to being a little confused as to what to do with my stalker. While I'd generally discourage all forms of stalking, my stalker is really nice. So it's kind of a good-news/bad-news thing.

  20. I definitely remember ... and in case nobody else remembers, Ginger's the only one allowed.
  21. I'm pretty much constantly on msn. The nature of my work being what it is, the people in my department have adopted it as our main means of communication. I also tend to keep it on when I'm at home, though lately I've noticed various house guests have been using my computer w/o logging out of msn.
  22. Oooooh! I've got a stalker? I'd say that's kinda cool ... ... but that trivializes being stalked. I guess I'll say it'd be cool to have Ginger as a stalker. It's good to talk to each of you. Ginger ... it's been hella long since I've talked to you. That was a long break! How's all en el mundo de Gisi?
  23. OMG! I totally empathize with that! How is school going?
  24. So generally, right handed people are owed money by left handed people (if their scratching habits are any indication of truth). Hmm let me think about this. Just because you're a right handed person doesn't mean that your left hand will itch. I'm cold.
