OK. I bought a system. I went to three different places while I was undecided. I asked around, and it was close to unanimous ... ... nobody working in these stores recommended the Xbox over PS/2. It was only five people total I asked, but it was pretty clear that if I was going to buy a system, based on my wants, the PS/2 was it. Thanks, everybody, for your help. I'm casting my vote now.

I think you have to drive an hour from San Diego to the closest ski resort ... and that's about as close as I would like to live to snow. I grew up in a place where, come winter, you just waited for that day when you'd wake up and the sun make it through the snow drift coving your window. I don't ski, but tons of people around here do. Pasadena ... ah, yes. It is nice there. If I had to live in/close to Los Angeles, that would definitely work.

^ I've avoided, too. I've only eaten food I've prepared for the last five days, and although it's not a paranoia thing (since I haven't activelyl been thinking about it) I assume that I decided at some point just to be as cautious as possible until ... blah, blah, blah ... I'm boring myself.

You'd love San Diego. Fog in the morning about 250 days a year. But sometimes I leads to some very beautiful scenery. There's nothing much I like more than a summer morning, waking up before the rest of the city, grabbing my surf board and heading to the beach. If the weather is cool it will be foggy and I'll drive to the top of one of the area's coastal mounds and sit with a coffee, getting warm while looking out over a coast of fog smothering houses and trees, vague hiding the crashing waves.
