  1. I need to see Coldplay live again, is it too much to ask for?
  2. I think the tour that they will supposedly do next year around the world will have nothing to do with GS. Still I don't expect them to play solo around here. It's true, festivals seem to be our only chance to see some great bands at the moment :\
  3. I know, same for Argentina, the ones you have mentioned are virtually confirmed. But I'm mostly talking about Coldplay. With the other bands there have been rumours and reports from the negociations by journalist like Jose Norberto flesch and Recitales en Argentina and now we're only waiting for the official announcement, but with Coldplay...things are different. I really hope they do play, I hope there's some truth in the leaked image and that they come to South America, I just don't want to get my hopes too high just yet. I'm so desperate to see them live that I'd jump with joy if they are confirmed at Lolla, but I'd also like to see them live on their own. The important thing is that they do tour South America next year.
  4. It's been revealed the leaked Line-up is apparently fake. https://twitter.com/RecitArg/status/515984006022979584/photo/1 There have been rumours of a possible Coldplay tour in South America for early 2015 for quite some time now, though. However, that's all they really are: rumours. Nothing concrete. Some people claiming to have a "source" have said they would play in December in Brazil, remember? Then it's been said January, February, March -a show on their own, March at Lolla, May, in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, but nothing has ever been confirmed or hinted at by any of the people who usually give fans some reliable info about how the negotiations are going. So as you can see it's all a huge mess of misinformation at the moment. If they are negotiating for real, it has not been reported yet. ( As it's happened last time or with other artists like Foo Fighters who have already confirmed) In the meantime, we just keep waiting and waiting.
  5. :( Last time they played in my country was four-and-a-half years ago, last time they played in Chile was SEVEN years ago- and these people get to see them cause they're either super rich or work for Target. Great. Missed two eras already...just makes me mad, I wish I was rich or something.
  6. Actually it's a tweet made from the official Coldplay account on May 3rd, in English....everyone can read it. So I guess the source is pretty much reliable or at least clear. https://twitter.com/coldplay/status/462678365112385536 Anyways, I hope they do tour sometime next year and that we can see them live once again. They're incredible live. Their shows are amazing, and very much expected over here, everyone's so eager to see them, they said they would come so we will keep waiting.
  7. Umm..I do undersatnd that, what I'm trying to say is that, seeing what happened last time around, I wish they were more careful when referring to the topic. No one has taken it as set in stone as you've said, everyone is quite concious they are rumours, but Phil himself has fed them and as I said, I just wish they were more careful, but they're only human and these things happen I guess.
  8. He said that when asked to come to Latin America so I doubt he was referring to the 6 date promo tour or a bigger tour somewhere else. Anyways, I wish they wouldn't say things that might be taken as "hints" by hopeful fans if they're not going to do anything.
  9. I still don't understand why Phil said "soon, soon" (in early May) when Chris and Jonny clearly said they wouldn't tour and that they did not want to. Isn't it a bit silly? I mean what's they point? Why would you do that when you don't want to tour?
  10. It was a bit annoying to be the last ones, but I generally did not mind ( and was kind of used to it tbh) because they were always so relaxed and as you said they were comfortable by then with the shows and the setlists and everyone was having lots of fun. After what happened last time, though, I do mind now. I wouldn't like to have to wait another two years after the tour starts, whenever that is.
  11. :( When it does happen I'm gonna be a grandma and broke. Great.
  12. I don't think they wait another two years to start a tour, I understood it as in that in two years they will be in the middle of a big tour. Maybe they will start sometime next year. Remember what Jason, the one who works with the Xylobands, said on Twitter when they finished the New Year's gigs in NY in 2012? He said something along the lines of "that was the end of MX tour, there won't be another tour til 2015" something like that. (He got lots of frustrated tweets his way cause at the time Coldplay had not officially cancelled the Latin American Tour, it was still "postponed", and fans were really confused) Anyways, so maybe he only meant they will be on tour in two years time, not that they will start the tour in two years time. I don't even want to think about waiting any more...
  13. Apparently Terra Brasil has confirmed that the band will be playing at least a concert there in December. It's only a rumor. Other rumors we've heard so far are hinting at a possible Latin American tour (or maybe just a bunch of concerts) in the beginning of 2015. Again, just rumors sadly. The rumors say nothing about LP7, just these concerts. That's all I've heard.
  14. December? Unless it's one of those charity concerts they usually do for Christmas it would be quite unusual, wouldn't it? Let's just wait and see what happens.
  15. That photo was taken when Coldplay visited Rio de Janeiro to play Rock in Rio in 2011. I recognise the place and the T-shirt, I'm pretty sure it was taken the night before the gig.
  16. Even if they do release an album next year, we're always the last ones on the list so, yeah, it could be years. :disappointed: Maybe we could all join efforts, set up a company and bring them to South America :P
  17. Well, the "live aspect" of the era is over and that is indeed very sad. At least for me, I was hoping they announced more tour dates :( Ones I would actually be able to attend. It is nice to know there's a video planned and probably a DVD, that's nice, it's great actually, knowing that we'll hear from them in the upcoming months but after the MX Tour fiasco, I was so excited when this new era was first announced cause it would mean live shows and a new Tour (finally!) and then you blink and it's over :( Just the idea of having to wait another 3 or 4 years to see them live makes me miserable.
  18. Oh, the DVD thing has been mentioned a few times, it makes sense, maybe it does happen, but what about a tour or a live performance? I'm just desperate.
  19. Ok, now that both RAH gigs have come and gone and that there are no other dates scheduled I can't help but wondering...now what? What do you think it's gonna happen? Christmas gig, maybe?
  20. Even his nostrils? :uhoh:
  21. :( When they cancelled MX Tour I thought there would be another tour with the following album, funny that they release said album and then don't tour...or just do a small tour in the same cities they always play for the same people that can always go. Sorry I'm so sad about it.
  22. It's a bit old, but I have just stumbled upon it. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs-tv/interviews/coldplays-jonny-buckland/
  23. Another show in Los Angeles :dozey:...cause there aren't fans in other cities dying to see them (and who are willing to pay for the tickets) I'm not asking them to come for free, it would be nice though :P
  24. If it wasn't for what Chris said on yesterday's interview about GS being also an album full of hope, I would have thought it's their saddest album so far. Yeah, but sadly, that was never going to happen.
