  1. Sorry, but I can't take these guys seriously.
  2. Was there ever any doubt though?
  3. The thing is, I'm not sure that's always a good thing. I like to see different themes in my music, and X&Y doesn't really work that way. It's slow song, fast song, slow song, fast song, slow song...no variation at all. By the way, which albums do you consider perfect? I'm curious.
  4. Fix You, Talk = Terrible lyrics. Fix You is good musically though. Square One is meh. White Shadows suffers from the lyrical thing too. Plus, it's just not as original or epic as most of their other songs.
  5. I love Sparks as well. It has a cool chord progression, bassline and melody. But I like Charlie Brown better. Christmas Lights is a boring piece of ****.
  6. I don't think they do need to confine themselves to four instruments. That would get...pretty boring, to be honest. Viva was great. Still is.
  7. At this point, I think I could pick nearly any song on Viva and I would rate it higher than any song on X&Y. I just don't like any of X&Y's songs. At all. They're just...boring. Not to mention lyrical atrocities. Oh well though. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
  8. Quadruple post! Impressive!
  9. It's extremely depressing to me that you find X&Y a better album than Viva la Vida.
  10. HAHAHA SO PUNNY
  11. Oh haha I totally misunderstood you. Sorry. :laugh3:
  12. Exactly. Charlie Brown >> Amsterdam >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sparks
  13. This forum didn't write it. And what are you talking about? "Better jokes?"
  14. Sorry Coldplay, but Sigur Ros one-upped you. They sang an entire ALBUM in gibberish. On top of that, the album came with a blank booklet where you could write your own interpretation of the "lyrics." And so far, that album is better than Mylo Xyloto.
  15. Things I Wish Coldplay would do: - Play A Rush of Blood to the Head and Amsterdam live again.
  16. Parachutes: 8/10 A Rush of Blood to the Head 9/10 X&Y 4/10 Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends 9/10 Mylo Xyloto 6-8/10
  17. I would actually love to hear this album.
  18. A Rush of Blood to the Head (Live 2003 Version). 'Nuff said.
  19. Maybe, but Thom Yorke is (by far) a better musician. :P
  20. Sorry, but what does this even mean? :laugh3:
  21. I'm positive that this line is "all that matters in the world."
  22. Forget the new songs (they won't, but hey...). They should play Spies, A Rush of Blood to the Head, Amsterdam, etc..
