  1. Yep. He does it a lot. Doesn't mean anything anymore. I'm a bit surprised to see the poll is almost 50-50. I voted no myself because saying yes didn't feel right... But it's only just a no.
  2. Haven't heard it on Dutch radio yet while usually 3FM is one of the first to play new (Coldplay) singles.
  3. Thank you Lily, can't wait to see those!
  4. And: the arm.
  5. The R42 pic is beautiful! Sad to hear this. You deserve much better. Some people don't realise how lucky they are, do they. Money issues SUCK. As I was typing this LITii started playing on the radio. Means karma is coming your way! ;)
  6. Wow! That is awesome, well done!
  7. Check this out: Scary.
  8. OK I'll add one.
  9. I just read this tweet: @MyHauteHabit My bestie just did hot yoga with THE Chris Martin. He was topless too. Happy Wednesday to her! #truestory #coldplay Edit: This was my 2000th post. I like it.
  10. Sigh... Chris we can see everything. Why don't you just take the shirt off. :dozey:
  11. Thanks all for your replies so far :cheesy: So if they don't fuck up at every single show, the mistakes are not deliberate. Or at least, not entirely. However, I agree with this: The band are very aware of how cute they are when they mess up, and I think it's very tempting for Chris to exaggerate a mistake if he feels like the show needs something extra. Or sometimes, it's just Chris being a perfectionist. Well, you're right, the mistakes are hilarious and very endearing, to the point where I almost hope they make one. I just think they know it's in their benefit to mess something up, but only, in my opinion, when it's unplanned. I wouldn't like it if they decide before the show if they should fuck up that night and when... (But I don't think they do that.) The thing is, it wouldn't make them sincere if it's deliberate. And sincerety is what Coldplay are about, to me.

^So he took that pic during the concert? While drumming? :P
  13. (I don't know if this should go in the Live section or not.) Lately I've been wondering about this. I read a review the other day, which was a bit critical towards the band and it suggested that almost everything is scripted in their shows. For example, when Chris throws his guitar on stage, it gets a replay on screen in slowmo. Nice effect, but it shows it's not a spontaneous move (anymore). The article also said Chris at some point stopped a song because he 'fucked it up', while the mistake wasn't obvious at all. Last year, they nailed Glastonbury and they made a mistake. (Or should I say: because they made a mistake?) That moment made the whole concert even more special than it already was. The article suggested that since then, it seemed like they decided to do a fuckup every night. It's part of their charm that not only they can get away with it - it even adds something to the experience. Something that makes every show unique. Does anyone think they may be doing it on purpose?
  14. I think it's the exact opposite - they don't want to be 'exclusive' at all. It would make them bigger stars, adored by fans, and they don't want themselves to be that way. You need a bigger ego if you're going to invite a fan onstage. Coldplay don't do egos. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, just not their style, like Celine said. They don't have the attitude for it. They are interacting more than ever with their audiences though. So who knows, maybe in a few years...
  15. Agreed, have fun Tracie!
  16. Great sig! :laugh3:
  17. It has officially gone? I'll join the nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-ing. Also Row & Sharon, awesome awesome awesome! Have fun! So maybe many of us will meet in The Hague...
  18. Happy birthday! :bigcry:
  19. Yeah in the original picture his T-shirt is blue... Let me go find it. The sun is out here too since yesterday! Finally. Have a great week everyone. Edit: This is just a scan... Do we have a better quality version?
  20. Draw me like one of your French girls and now this... I bet they went on a date to see Titanic once. :P
  21. Why is it always Dutch people who are rude?
  22. Chirs is three inches tall.
  23. I'm totally bored by the studio version. Live it's still OK, but I wouldn't mind if it gets dropped... Even though the 'ooooh' bit is probably the best moment of the whole concert. As I was typing this Viva started playing on TV. It's a sign! (And I just posted a comment about their songs being over used on TV...)
  24. I can't deny that I get emotional when I'm watching a sad scene and suddenly Fix You (or any of their songs) starts playing... But yes, absolutely. Their music in general is over used on TV here in the Netherlands. I hear them almost every day at some point and I don't watch TV that much. And it's not just Paradise or Viva, yesterday I heard High Speed in the background somewhere. High Speed!
