I need a ticket for my mother (username Hetty) for July 2nd. We've got a hotel together so if she can't go to the concert she'll be getting drunk in a pub somewhere and all of you will hurt your eyes watching her dance outside the RAH. You don't wanna see that. You really don't. :no: So if anyone has a spare ticket, please let me know! It will be for your own good.

Aaaaaaaaa I am going after all! Thanks to a very kind person on the other forum. I couldn't believe my misfortune yesterday and I can't believe my luck today.

^You're probably not the only one calling and it may take longer for those mistakes to come up. Must have been chaos for them as well yesterday. They hate us as much as we hate them. :lol: I think there will be a few tickets available here and there in the next few weeks, because that's what happened on previous GS shows. Just keep checking their website.

During the 2 July sale there were tickets available for July 1st as well. So 'sold out' is indefinite. Keep trying the coming days/weeks! I sure as hell will be. There has to be a spot left. I don't take up that much room. I could sit on the floor, or on a staircase, I could hang from the ceiling, wherever they want me.

Congrats everyone who was lucky! I wasn't, but I'm still trying. If anyone has a spare, I'd love you forever if you PM'ed me. (I'm sure a lot of people are asking that, I haven't read this thread because I'm F5ing.)

When I think of Friday I get this rush of adrenaline. It's a life and death situation.

Yeah you know, it's not a smart comparison, but she's quoted on this and it's taken out of context. That's not entirely fair. Still, she should have some experience with media exposure by now and she could have been more nuanced. Edit: It's a bit ironic. She tries to get people to be nicer to celebrities but because of that, they're only being less nice.

Well that was nice, just still not a fan of ASFOS. Jonny was funny and it seemed like Chris knew Tom. They had the awkward hug thing going on. Thanks for the stream links jc90. Edit: the running bit they started with cracked me up. I hope Tom keeps running for a few more movies.

^It says here 'Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's daughter Bella Cruise', which is a confusing sentence but I think that's just their daughter, without Tom. It does seem like Tom was at a Viva show in 2009 though. So he probably likes them.

Will there be an interview? Chris skipped Ellen, maybe he does Graham Norton instead? Probably not, Tom Cruise doesn't want to sit next to them because it makes him look more short.

I don't see them doing another MX after GS, but then again, GS had ASFOS... I would love for them to pick up where Midnight left off. It could fill some stadiums, if that's what they're aiming for, without being predictable.

I loved Amok and the AFP live shows had a fantastic energy. But I prefer a slightly warmer Radiohead sound as well. Really curious to see what they're doing next. Hurry please.

No folk for me either please, or at least not pop-folk (wouldn't mind them trying some Bob Dylan). I would love for them to experiment more and go less radio-friendly. GS is a step in the right direction but I still feel like they need to write songs that a lot of people will buy (Magic, ASFOS). My biggest wish for them is to step away from that because it limits their development. Probably won't happen though.
