Yeah I got that message by e-mail yesterday. Cologne is a good possibility, since they broadcasted that one live at the time. Was my initial guess before the Ahoy rumours started. And it was 'intimate'. :shrug:

Basically all of this plus I think they're either going to absolutely nail it or it will be a complete disaster. I hope Chris keeps his cool. He's a grown man now. :lol:

Love these stories :wacky: post more post more! I had heard Trouble and Clocks when they were hits and I loved them, but I wasn't into music at that time. A few years later Speed of Sound and Talk, which I liked but not too much. Then, somewhere in 2007, I heard The Scientist in the movie Wicker Park and a few weeks after that Don't Panic in some random gardening TV show. You know, when they show plant names while a pretty song is played. :| I recognized Coldplay by Chris's voice, which sounded very warm but at the same time so sad... It was intriguing. Still what I love about them, the mixed emotions they leave you with.

Aaah that sucks. It was too good to be true. :(

OK. I thought maybe you'd have some secret info, since you're the radio guy :P Charlie Brown was a highlight for me too, would love to hear it. Probably just a few songs then. But, you never know, maybe they're going to make an exception for Coldplay. :wink3:

So you mean this is a different schedule than the regular That's Live? Because the show always takes two hours and they play only a few songs from the 'live' artist.

Yeah the whole show would be way too awesome, though it's very wishful thinking... Usually it's more like four songs. But we can hope :wacky:

Well, they're talented, but yeah. The performance sucked hard. And they got BURNED on Twitter for ruining VLV. I think our whole country is addicted to Coldplay. :lol: When you watch their Glasto 2000 gig because you 'suffer' from MX shows overdose.

^I just melted. Apart from traveling, nightmares and his worries, which sucks, maybe he just doesn't need as much sleep. Because he's functioning OK, isn't he? I couldn't function if I suffered from insomnia. And Chris has always said he doesn't sleep much, even when he was still in college. (Can't remember the exact interview.) I read this article the other day which said there's people who only have one gene which controls their sleeping pattern, while most people have two. The ones that missed that type of gene needed half as much sleep as the average person. Which came down to four hours a night instead of eight. Sorry about the bump. Just check those^ pictures and you'll be grateful. :P

No idea. :shrug: We're really lucky if they have recordings from the Ahoy. Might be a re-broadcast of some of the Cologne gig from back in... November? Or maybe Pinkpop again. Or older stuff. But I do think we're going to hear Giel's interview.

+8986 My dream is a setlist of just album tracks and no singles. I love most of their singles, but we keep hearing them over and over and sometimes I feel like they don't leave enough room for other great songs. Never gonna happen though.

Took me a little longer to find my favourite thread again today. :lol: It's now officially in the past... Same here, don't know if it's my memory being one big blur or our own shouting along, but I can't remember some of Chris's singing either. That crowd was way too loud. :P Edit: And YES Up In Flames, I was stunned by that singalong.
