Welcome! :nice: I think love surely is one of the main themes, just think of the lyrics of Hurts Like Heaven, Us Against The World or even Princess Of China. And anyway, every Coldplay album contains a lot of love :P And about the number of tracks, in a recent interview Chris and Jonny said they'd be 13... But who knows if they were saying it seriously?

^ I totally agree (also about the chords :P). Inside an album the most likely is to find songs with similar features, it happens to every band and singer... It's normal that if you write songs in the same months they'll probably have some similarities, and it also depends on the style you want to create for the album.
