I don't know if you'll agree with this or not, but it seems to me that the snippets we're getting are the bridges of their respective songs. AHFoD and AoaL snippets certainly didn't sound anything like we know them to sound like. Their main melodies aren't being represented. That might give you some hope or something, idk, but if that is what Coldplay is doing, it's rather clever of them. We get a feel for the song, but really have very little of it ruined for ourselves :shrug:

I was, but then I figured that 10 seconds each wouldn't ruin anything so I EMBRACED IT I've also already forgotten what all the ones before Kaleidoscope sound like, so :P

The one thing I'm worried about for Amazing Day is that it be drowned in production. That seems to really be a problem on the first couple of snippets we got today. Hopefully we get less and less ridiculous production as the album goes along

This is the song I am most excited for. The title is very reminiscent of the Viva era. Also, unless Fun takes the spot, we haven't heard our obligatory "dark" song for the album yet

Okay so I'm pretty sure I have never gotten out of bed faster than I just did when I saw the three snippets :lol: Unfortunately, I'm not too impressed with any of them so far, BUT I think they are all just the bridges of each song. It's certainly the bridge that's being played in the AHFoD snippet, and with all the other weird little things in the other two, I'm pretty sure that's the case there also. Hope is not entirely lost, everyone ;) (although it's dying fast . . . )

^ THP is one of those songs that I think could have been left off X&Y, but the LRLRL version with PFFA at the end is seriously amazing Prospekt's March is one of those songs that's serious underrated, even by Oldplayers. Lyrically one of Coldplay's best, and absolutely tragic and beautiful, but no one ever seems to talk about it :P

^ I've tried to get into that band SO many times, but I get put off by his voice every time. Chris is the only singer that I can stand to listen to a lot of falsetto from :disappointed:
