  1. we'll but at least as far as i could judge from the two shows i attended they're acting as if they were singing / playing
  2. c'mon, am i actually the first one to mention that Midnight with about 99.9% certainty isn't sung live either?
  3. hahaha lmao I hope somebody of the official crew ever gets to read those few posts lamenting about the "old lip sync/karaoke party/playback time":awesome::awesome::awesome::awesome:
  4. now we're on to the Karaoke party:awesome::awesome::clap::clap::clap:
  5. Midnight excerpt next gonna be followed by CB
  6. yes - i think it's definately more likely than Square One. Could be during the C-Stage section - maybe tonight's request song? Although - thinking a bit more rationally (rather then optimistically) - if you look at the past years (R42 blogs etc) doing a new (old) song during soundcheck one day mostly meant the song was going to appear in the setlist only 2-3 nights later, the earliest....
  7. yep definately gonna come Everglow. now he's prolly gonna introduce the band before it
  8. hm no, the surprise song will only be during the C-Stage section which is later, namely after AOAL. talking of "surprise song" - this means its most probably either dont panic, shiver or in my place
  9. same setlist as since Amsterdam so far... boring.. dont like POC
  10. Maybe they've added it to gain another 4 minutes (besides Clocks) where Chris doesn't have to sing - in order to give his voice a little rest during the show
  11. Ok i guess chances for square one are rather low -> AIMH
  12. ... i could just live quite well without this Tiesto Remix. While I completely agree with you that it sounds pretty good when you hear it - like here on the radion, but when you're live at the show, there's this moment when you realize how badly the energy transfers from the band to the audience in this part of the show.
  13. yep it's really mixed damn well... just a bit tooo compressed if you ask me.
  14. doesn't sound particularly hoarse compared to other shows imo..
  15. omg i so much love that ocean's excerpt going into the intro of Birds. one of my favorite moment while both shows that i saw live this year so far
  16. sure :) COLDPLAY "IT'S NOT A GOOD TIME FOR BEING ENGLISH" Since the end of march Coldplay have been on the road with their current album "AHFoD" and the homonymous world tour. Prior to their show in the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Wednesday - one of three shows in Germany - drummer Will Champion and bass player Guy Berryman sit in the catacombs of the stadium. Do you a relationship to Berlin that evokes any kind of memory or associations? W.C.: We've already played once the Olympiastadion. There's lots of music that got inspired or influenced in and through Berlin and that was written here. Berlin has a musical soul. We love many of the bands that have made fantastic recordings here: U2, Bowie, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Berlin is a very creative city. You've been touring a lot all around the world during the past few months, far away from Great Britain. How did you receive the news of the Brexit last week? W.C.: We spent Thursday and Friday in Amsterdam, but of course all of us still voted. We were shocked, sad and for some days totally shattered. It felt strange playing our shows in Europe, in front of ten thousands of Europeans. I'm ashamed of the result. It's not a good time for being English. I don't believe that the problems, that we have in GB, have much to do in particular with Europe. What state of mind has brought the British people to this votum`? W.C.: Desillusion. The people feel excluded of the powerful ones, that make the decisions. The gap between the poor and the rich keeps growing. There are millions of people, that feel as if nobody listened to them and as if they weren't represented. To those people the chance was given to raise their voice. And that's what they did. But I believe, in the end, it's gonna be even more difficult particularly for them. What effect do you think is Brexit going to have on the British music scene? Guy Berryman: That's difficult to predict, what kind of effect it is going to have - in any sector: politics, economy or also the every day life of the people. I believe, no one does honestly really know what is going to happen. So why are we taking this risk? That makes me afraid. W.C.: Are the things in GB really so bad, that we have to take that risk? I don't think so. So, how is the Brexit going to affect the every day life? We'll probably get more answers to this questions with every week, but we're probably not going to see the whole picture but in five or ten years, . Thus far for now. gotta go to bed. maybe somebody else will go on...?
  17. Hey guys i don't know if anyone has already noticed this, but i'm pretty sure they're using a real piano - and by real i mean that the piano sounds are not samples but coming from the piano accoustically itself - on this tour. 2 things that lead me to this assumption: 1. a while ago, they posted a video or a picture (can't remember which it was and neither on what platform(s)) where you could see somebody tune the piano on stage. they wouldn't have needed to do that if they still used the sampled Kawaii-Sounds, right? 2. i was at the Zürich show on saturday, and what really surprised me a bit was how difficult it was from time to time to hear the piano in the mix. which was a noteable change from previous shows where the piano sounded always very balanced out and much stronger. the fact that it wasn't as "present" now could be further evidence that they use the real acoustic sound of it, cause mic-ing and mixing a real acoustic piano is much more difficult than using samples of course. what do you think?
  18. All of our band are big Coldplay fans =) We've just released our first own EP. It's called "Lily" What do you think of it? https://itun.es/ch/UrOrbb any comments or critique appreciated
  19. Prince Jelleh - Light https://itun.es/ch/UrOrbb
  20. the guy said they were gonna be back soon
  21. Not sure you mean the same thing, cause i wouldn't referr to this piano i'm hearing as being crystal like at all... Its pretty low and mellow atually.
  22. I absolutely LOVE the piano with a bit of delay effect that can be heard very quietly throughout the verses *___*
  23. Well i can assure you that for 99% the leaked version has already been mixed as well as mastered. If you'd ever heard an unmixed or also just unmastered version of a song you could tell immediately that this leak clearly was mixed and mastered. I think the only reason it sounded so bad was the low bitrate
  24. I'm actually wondering if it will available on Spotify at all... cause I do have Spotify Premium and here in Switzerland it's already 01:12 am...
