  1. I went to the Manchester gig and mine have flashed on numerous occasions. Once when I was watching a video of Charlie Brown from the gig on youtube which was cool.
  2. I would absolutely love to meet the band. On another note, doesn't Chris dress badly!?
  3. Bit of a no brainer this one, we all want more music
  4. U.F.O is completely boring in my opinion. Up In Flames is my favourite, love the guitar near the end.
  5. Just found this, it's brilliant to see how they've changed and thought I'd share it... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGgLdnC3smE&feature=related]Coldplay - Full Concert live from Manchester Arena 2002 - YouTube[/ame]
  6. Like I said, they always do it, 'build them up, knock them down'
  7. Q is a good mag...
  8. NME readers are a bunch of idiots. And the journalism is atrocious, simple 'build them up, knock them down' strategies is what they use. Any band with as much mainstream success as Coldplay, like Keane as mentioned above and Snow Patrol get completely bashed. If it's not rock n roll they slag it off. Coldplay could have written the best album of the new millenium and NME would have given it a bad review, their review of MX was practically a review of Coldplay the band and not the album, the first thing they did was criticise the fan base they have.
  9. JackColdplay posted a topic in Coldplay
Coldplay nominated for 2 awards..."Worst Band" and "Worst Album". I absolutely hate NME, constantly drivel on about the Gallagher brothers (pair of idiots) and Arctic Monkeys, among other boring repetitive bands. Just look at the nominees, even they are boring and repetitive. http://www.nme.com/news/arctic-monkeys/61733
  10. I haven't read this thread, but looking at the nominees, what is the point in countries like France having these award ceremonies where the nominees are all practically from the UK and USA. I just can't imagine it would mean anything to them like the Brits or Grammys would.
  11. Most songs they play on this tour come from A Rush Of Blood To The Head, other than MX obviously
  12. Suppose I should answer my own thread. Happy song? ETIAW Sad/depressing song? Trouble Relaxing song? Strawberry Swing or Speed of Sound, don't know why but this song just makes me float away... Unusual song? Til Kingdom Come Innovative song? Viva la Vida Motivating song? Fix You Colourful song? Lovers in Japan or ETIAW Popular song? Viva la Vida Unpopular song? We Never Change Under-rated song? Politik
  13. Was lying in bed watching a live video of Charlie Brown, from the Manchester gig I went to, and as it started my wristband started simultaneously flashing! It was amazing! However it didn't stop for a while which was annoying.
  14. Sorry if you thought I was rude, didn't mean to offend you. But in all fairness it's a bad theory, plus Chris has already explained what it means
  15. Easily the worst thread I've ever seen.
  16. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, it's amazing. From what I've heard, it could be Charlie Brown in the future.
  17. Chris dresses badly
  18. It's not a lousy opener, it's the best possible one.
  19. I love it, thanks for the time you put into it
  20. Here in the UK I know Viagogo is reliable, just very expensive
  21. Happy Birthday Coldplay, thankyou for getting me through my life
  22. Heard 'Warning Sign' in Minas Tirith, Gondor, Middle Earth.
