  1. It would be cool to hear some louder beats, though I don't think we need that many synths this time.
  2. What annoys me is the total lack of news like "we've just kicked Chris out of the studio" or "we're builting a new place called Beehive". JUST TELL US SOMETHING
  3. I've only heard Here Comes The Night Time and Reflektor, both seemed flat and lifeless to me. The Suburbs was a bit bland alredy but the songs had much more interesting melodies, really disappointed by those 2 songs.
  4. One of my neighbors uses the name "Godfather"
  5. I think that, if there's anything on Atlas that could point out what's to come is the "size". The song manages to be big and quite epic without going totally overblown like Paradise or Death And All His Friends (which are great and I love). So, I guess it will still be epic, but we can expect less "wooooahs" and group singing.
  6. So I kind of forgot Atlas really fast, really, it's a good song but there's nothing really cacthy or addictive about it like the riffs on In My Place and Charlie Brown or the chorus of Viva La Vida and GPASUYF. It's kind of forgettable really.
  7. Did it again, it's a bit different
  8. Imagine Dragons - Underdog
  9. Couldn't it be just an instrumental by Howard sampling Atlas? I remember Skyfall had some notes from Adele's song during the movie on the soundtrack.
  10. Yes they are getting old. (I have mine LP6-Should-Be-Theire-Last-Album-Theory because of mine Musicians-Over-40-Make-Bad-Music-Theory) Whatever, I think they could just wear jeans and jackets...
  11. I would say adventurous, maybe something more soft and tripping.
  12. ^ I hear A LOT from their recent work on the track. Chris' lower register at some points (Yes, Moving To Mars), the tack piano (CB, Lovers In Japan) by the end, the background synths (Violet Hill), the simple chorus (Paradise, Hurts Like Heaven), the drums by the end made me think of Chtistmas Lights, the bass of Paradise and Death and All His Friends piano. So I don't see that much of old Coldplay.
  13. Charlie Brown wasn't that bad, I remeber it had a quite good airplay for a Coldplay song here at least.
  14. I really liked it, I don't love it though. The chorus seems a bit unfinished with just "carry your world" over and over. The melody is gorgeus, the background synths and guitar gave it an awsome space feeling and the tack piano at the end is beautiful. It's sound somewhere between Death And All His Friends and Paradise wich is great. So yeah, an 8/10, really good, but not a Coldplay classic.
  15. ^ And Christmas Lights. For me that means nothing on LP6
  16. So, either they haven't chose a new producer yet, or the new album will be produced by Dan and Rik, wich I think is almost like produced by Coldplay themselves because they are on this for so long they've almost become part of the band alredy.
  17. Prospector replied to Tash's topic in Atlas (2013)
BRILLIANT, I don't even think we need a propper video after this
  18. Based on the one and a half minute I've heard I liked it, seems like a something between Viva La Vida and Mylo Xyloto sounds, I really like the build up and I'm dying to hear the rest
  19. They should stop announcing before they are sure about things....
  20. So, if this guy wrote a song called Atlas, for the same movie, I guess the title has something to do with the book. Has anyone read it?
