All the new songs start to make sense to me, actually

^ Always In My Head is around 3 minutos so...

The new songs have a lot of things from MX to me, they sound pretty close to Up In Flames and Up With The Birds. I get the "Rush" vibe on it, everything sounds on a smaller scale, from that point of view that's nice, still think Magic and Always In My Head are songs that have nothing special about them, just average. Midnight sounds different from their previous things and Another's Arms is really the catchiest of them all, my favourite until now, but not even close to any of my Coldplay's favourite songs.

I'm pretty sure they could do music a lot more interesting than what they've shown so far on the same style, the whole thing sounds flat

It reminds me a bit of the song Chris wrote for Country Strong, Me And Tenessee

"television selling plastic figurines of leaders, saying nothing at all" I liked MX lyrics, but the new songs are just silly

Tthis sounding like music for elevators for me....

My favorite until now, kind of disappointed with all the other songs (I like midnight too, but the rest is meeeeeeh, ok)

I orginally gave it 8, but honestly, I feel like it's just OK

I like the clothes related to the albums, it's like theire "working uniforms", it's part of the concept they are presenting. I think the clothes they are using now are not just random choices but it seems like this time they are just using "common clothes", like, they just chosed a style and not necessarily made totally new outfits. They did that on X&Y too.

This really grew on me on the last week, I like it more than Magic right now

I don't really think it will, but we can have hopes

8/10 It's a good song, the beat is cool and the guitar lines are great. I like the fact that it never really gets epic or anything, seems like they decided to keep things smaller this time, it's a relaxing song, kind of happy. Reminds me a bit of the feeling of U2's Sweetest Thing, the fact is that they sound really confortable with themselves in it, it flows really naturally, it's not rushed, not loud, it's just a good song. They don't seem to be trying to prove nothing to anyone. The lyrics could sound a bit lazy, but the fact is that they fit really well in the melody, seems like this could be the lyrics of the song since the very first version, I like that, I do like the song. They seem to be having fun with it.

The artwork is quite similar to those on the lyric video for Atlas, specially if you take a look at her site on things like this:

I think Atlas wouldn't sound out of place with Magic, I guess they could play it on the tour

I guess we don't have much to speculate now, we have a release date, tracklist and artwork.... let's go to the LP7 thread.

Really linking it, not love at first listen, but really liking it more everytime I listen to it.
