What should the two Coldplay Album Trilogies be called?
I think we should call them:thinking: The first trilogy; and The second trilogy

Foster The People
My favourites are: Coming Of Age, A Begginer's Guide To Destroying The Moon, Pseudologia Fantastica, Best Friend + its intro, The Truth in no particular order. The Truth reminds me of The Killers for some reason, maybe because of the low voice in the chorus and stuff:thinking:. You should check it out. :) I ripped the entire album from iTunes Radio using stereo mix (I can share it if anyone's interested), and I think I freakin' raped the replay button while listening to Destroying The Moon. :p I actually wish Coldplay did something like that

What can we do to save the forum?
This site can't be closed:( I just can't believe it. I joined this forum around 2010-2011 and what I remember most is the LP5 / Mylo Xyloto thread three years ago just before MX came out. Unforgettable. We were all just like partying hard and posting crazy theories and funny shit. I guess that was not the first thread of that kind, and that there is lots of other memories here that we don't want to lose. I seriously can't believe that it's just getting closed up like that. I just can't

What can we do to save the forum?
I just got no idea what to say or do... This is just unreal, I can't believe coldplaying is being closed. Where did they even announce that?

Another's Arms
Well, I actually like Radiohead as much as Coldplay and still think that half of TKOL sucked ass.
-
Another's Arms
I can tell you why. It's because Another's Arms has about 0.00001% pop influence because the band wants it to be a hit, and that makes everyone lose their minds. (It will still be a hit man I bet whatever that it's the next Paradise) But most fans here hate when Coldplay changes to a more radio-friendly style, so they wish they just had stayed playing Parachutes and The Blue Room and the Safety EP for all their lives. They all prefer either the heavy guitar songs, or the slow acoustic ballads like AIMH But the band won't do that:) They'll keep making masterpieces like Another's Arms for as long as they want to. Why? Because they are Coldplay. That's why EDIT: Not saying that their old style is bad, just sayin' that there is nothing wrong with them changing and experimenting with new styles

Another's Arms
I said Lyrically talking Always In My Head is like Parachutes-esque, and Another's Arms kinda reminds me a lot of X&Y, for some reason :p
-
Another's Arms
Paradise = Another's Arms > poop > Princess Of China Lyrically talking, and the rhythm and arrangements of music is way off to that of POC, so no, I don't think it's similar in any way to Princess Of China

Another's Arms
Yeah I noticed that from the first time I heard the song. it's like some sort of bass drop, but a good kind of bass drop.
-
Another's Arms
I bet when the studio version of AA is released it's gonna get each and everyone of you, with or without cheesy lyrics :P
-
Another's Arms
But who cares about the lyrics when you got that haunting ghost voice in the background and a lot of Chris's epic piano playing and Jonny's kick-ass guitar riffs? It's just, boom. And the lyrics are not even that bad; at least not at bad as that song with rihanna. I can't see why would anyone dislike this song.

LP6
I'd actually like them to go ahead and make something that mixes just part of their old style with a new style. An album with upbeat, piano driven songs, Clocks style + slower guitar driven songs like UATW + some catchy electronic rock songs like those by MGMT or Foster The People would be perfect for me. Bands shouldn't stay with the same style for all their lifetime, just as they shouldn't change completely and abandon their original style either.

Should Coldplay release LP6 without a single?
Dude, MX had like 6 singles and only ONE b-side

LP6
Edit: Ignore this lame comment

LP6
Does anybody remember a song were Chris was playing along with the band and singing in Ellen's show and Ellen sneaked behind the piano and scared him? :laugh3: I really wish that song was released in LP6. I'll search for the link, in case I'm the only one who remembers it. EDIT: Found it  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDXspO_ulsQ#t=6m30s

LP6
It's funny that this thread was created before MX was out. xD

Atlas video
I'd like for coldplay to do more songs like this one for LP6. I think it's just perfect, the video with planets and stars and all that stuff.

Best Coldplay Lyrics Ever
"Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you" "People talking without speaking Trying to take what they can get I ask you if you remember Prospekt, how could I forget?" "And time is on your side, its on your side, now Not pushing you down, and all around No it's no cause for concern"
