  1. If anyone has a pre-sale code that they won't be using, I'd appreciate if you'd share it with me. I want to get tickets for my mom as a gift
  2. This song sounds like some Lorde stuff.
  3. This effin thread :laugh4:
  4. I'll forbear from voting here since I find that both are equally perfect in different ways.
  5. I still want the song at 0:05 [video=youtube_share;zkwdmK80RYs]
  6. Are we already starting the LP7 madness? Cos' I don't wanna miss it this time
  7. Now, this is what I like from Coldplay :pleased:; not corny videos of fat lovers.
  8. I prefer anything than true love to be honest
  9. This song is UNDERRATED and should totally be a single. Another's Arms, as simple as y'all may think it is, the only simple element it actually has is its lyrics, even though they try to address love with a much more original theme than the rest of the album, which is restlessness, as opposed to just plain lyrics about love (Not saying the others are bad, I'm just saying that Another's Arms stands out for its theme). Now, the music itself. It has that badass ghost lady voice, plus some serious piano and bass lines as well as Chris using almost all of his voice range throught the song. It is the perfect balance between old and new Coldplay so I think that it deserves some recognition, a kick-ass music video, and probably even radio airplay. So do Ink and All Your Friends, although it seems to me that everyone actually liked those. Those three deserve it, unlike t̶h̶e̶ ̶u̶l̶t̶i̶m̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶c̶h̶e̶e̶s̶y̶-̶o̶v̶e̶r̶p̶r̶o̶d̶u̶c̶e̶d̶ ̶s̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶b̶o̶ ̶p̶l̶u̶s̶ ̶c̶o̶r̶n̶y̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶i̶n̶c̶l̶u̶d̶e̶d̶ True Love, overrated as fuck. Guys, I could put up with the song, but if they come up with another romantic-ass video like the one they did for that song, I just won't be able contain the urge to puke. I love Coldplay, but I am not and will not at all be sorry for writing this.
  10. I was expecting an acoustic version like they played it in the videoshoot, the original version from that old Instagram video, some more new songs and stuff, but this is still good.
  11. Not gonna hate or anything, I very much respect his opinion. Doesn't mean I agree with the idea of the band going back to playing Parachutes and The Blue Room and the Safety EP for all their lives instead of evolving their sound and giving us different things though. They are doing pretty good, at least better than MX era. Only thing I actually dislike about this album is the lack of tour. Imo, Ghost Stories worldwide tour, and boom it's up there with AROBTTH as long as they leave paradise out.
  12. I actually really like the video. I didn't see anything wrong with it, and then y'all pointed out the lack of production of it. I'm just going to say that I love this video because it is not like the rest of all the music videos. In other music videos, the musicians are viewed as actors and if they fuck up they have to start all over again and the fun is eventually gone. Here, it looks like the band were really enjoying what they were doing. They had a crowd who was following them and singing along, and they were all enjoying a sweet acoustic version of the song. I like it because it is just the band being the band. They were happy I mean, come on, most of you would not stop bitching about overproduction in every bit of the MX era and you are now complaining about this. Imo it is amazing as simple as it is. It is clever, it is funny, and it's the band playing an acoustic version for the people they love the most: their fans. I do not see a problem with it *drops mic* EDIT: Also, I'd like to hear a studio version with will doing that bad-ass rhythm thingy from the leaked vids
  13. Ink, yes, but TL please no, i wouldn't wanna hear it on the radio every goddamn day, it's too slow for a single imo. If there really must be another single after Ink, AA is way better imo
  14. Single serve huh, so they'd fit like at least four nutella jars right?
  15. "And I could write it down (with Nutella) Or spread it all around, (Nutella duh) Get lost and then get found And you'll come back to me (when he gets lost looking for his nutella and nutella finds him )
  16. Does anybody remember that song from MX era that Chris was playing in the piano during a rehearsal at Ellen and she sneaked behind the piano and scared him? Well, I think that might be Tomorrow. EDIT: [video=youtube_share;zkwdmK80RYs]
  17. Yeah, I always feel like every album is heavy in one specific instrument. Like Parachutes in Acoustic Guitars, AROBTTH in Piano, X&Y in Organ, MX in Synths etc. and when I listened to this I immediately noticed that this is definitely Guy's album. EDIT: Oh, and idk if anybody else noticed but in Another's Arms during the guitar solo, that's some seriously epic bass.
  18. RiotFever replied to Tash's topic in Oceans
    I think that'd be Midnight
  19. So, if there was a Ghost Stories tour  When do you think it would start? What would be the setlist? What songs would they leave out from older tours? Would they leave out from the tour setlist one song from the album (as they did with Twisted Logic, U.f.o, chinese sleep chant)? What will be the visuals? Will there be something special like the xylobands or anything else? What clothes will the band wear to play? New instruments? Will it be a stadium filling tour or something more intimate? Will they play at any music festivals? Will there be a live album? Discuss.
  20. imo Atlas loses all of those except Magic and True Love :sneaky: Oh, and AYF, GS and O2 kill it too
  21. 1. X&Y 2. A Rush Of Blood To The Head 3. Ghost Stories 4. Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends 5. Mylo Xyloto 6. Parachutes
