theres probably a 90 % chance there actually WILL be an LP6. I'm hoping LP6 will be more of a concept album. one that cant translate well to live perfomances.

I've heard a bunch of people say that they don't like Eno and that they miss the old Coldply. Personally, I think Eno has greatly improved Coldplay. I prefer VIVA and MX(so far) over 'chutes, AROBTTH, and X&Y What do you guys think?

we all need to forget the billboard article. can you ever trust journalists? HLH will make the album. If it doesn't, the album should have 10 or so songs that are better.

the "tack piano" reminds me of the sounds in latino hip hop (if anyone knows what I'm talking about) I can't explain it well...:confused: By the way, PoC would fit perfectly VIVA:smug:

HLH is the song I'm most anxious about. It's by far my favorite new song. I listen to it every day on you tube. If it doesn't make it, i will be angry. I don't understand the notion that Major Minus will make it cuz of its symbolism when HLH has just as much within it. :\

charlie brown is a simple song that grows on you(in my place, lost, everythings not lost, strawberry swing). But its not a masterpiece like vlv or fix you

its very promising to me that MtM is a b-side. i would have been pleased to hear it during my first Lp5 listen in the near future. i hope the new album is 11 or 12 songs. asuming that HLH, CB, PoC, ETIAW will be on it

CB is definately not their best song. look no further than their LP5 songs to find a better song: HLH and PoC

i've listened to ETIAW about 300 times now. i think its exciting if nothing else. its catchy, the lyrics are simple and easy to remember. if u can manage to make a song with these characteristics, it should be a decent song, and it is. with the other new songs from best to worst it probably fits here: HLH 9.7/10 PoC 9.5/10 (studio version is going to b mind-blowing) CB 8.7/10 (LP5's "in my place") MX 8/10 ETIAW 7.7/10 MtM 7.6/10 (everyone thinks this is a "classic." its not, but still good) UATW 7/10 (this song is a great change of pace in concert, but souldnt b on Lp5 MM 5/10

Daylight, Low, Cemetries of London, and now Major Minus are my least favorite coldplay songs. Frankly, i find chris's vocals when he sings "got one eye watching you, and one eye on whatcha do" to be kinda obnoxious 5/10

hurts like heaven has a very traditional rock song format: verse chorus guitar solo verse chorus guitar solo bridge guitar outro i dont think they've done this before but it is quikly becoming my favorite

PoC seems to be LP5's "Lost!" it doesn't make you jump up and down but it simply just sounds really cool and quite frankly, i think these types of songs have the longest lasting appeal

i'm going to this one! first coldplay concert for me!

Charlie Brown is a perfect example of a coldplay song that the fans love but all the coldplay haters despise about coldplay

the outro of Hurts like Heaven is simply my favorite bit of coldplay music ever
