I was listening to a Chris interview with Steve Lamacq the other day. This was back in 2001. He said he visited a fans website after Coldplay had cancelled a couple of concerts and he was freaked out by the fans reaction. He thought fans would understand that the band wouldn't just cancel a show unless they had a legit reason to do so. So now he stays away from message boards. He's a very sensitive guy.

Funny seeing Chris performing here makes me believe the duet with Rihanna might actually work. I wasn't sure what he'd be doing but now I'm looking forward to it.

It was already announced that Rihanna will perform with Coldplay at the Brits, so I'm not sure about that Sun article.

It's good you've come to see us before you go Bon Jovi massive. ROFL I watch that youtube video all the time. And then compare to Glastonbury 2002 where the crowd sang Yellow to the band. I get chills every time.

Screaming Adele doing a duet with Chris Martin? That would be a terrible mismatch. The boys are going to take their music in whatever direction they feel they have to in order to experiment and grow.

Giving Parachutes a 2nd uninterrupted listen. Life Is For Living remains the best track on that album for me.

Personally I don't see what's distasteful about Coldplay promoting sports. It's a good thing.
