  1. Been a lurker on this forum for years but just wanted to also express how great this song is for me. I love how they continue to find ways to change things up, and it makes it all the more special being able to read everyone else's thoughts in real time as well. 10 minutes just completely flies by when listening to this song.
  2. The C stage was either section 6 or 7. They've typically played in that area during arena shows. I was lucky enough to snag seats right next to the door where they walked on and off the B stage. I got to shake Chris' hand when they first walked into the crowd. I never thought I would ever get to do that. It was so amazing!
  3. Hey everyone, I ended up with an extra pair of tickets that I don't need. Scottrade Center - 7/21, section 105 row D, seats 7 and 8. I'm willing to sell the pair of tickets for $200, because I would really like to get rid of them and at least get something back :). I'm still going to this show, so I can either give these ones to you in person before the show or we can work something else out. Let me know!
  4. Hey everyone, I ended up with an extra pair of tickets that I don't need. 5. Hey everyone, I ended up with two extra pairs of tickets that I don't need. 6. I have two tickets for the July 21 St Louis show that I no longer need. Section 105 row D. Pretty great seats since you're close to the floor but still above everyone in front of you. I have them listed on Ticketmaster right now, but would love to sell them directly to avoid the extra selling fees. Message me if you're interested!

I feel the same way. I love those lines.

I really appreciate how they made the 'Believe in love' line so subtle at the end of the song. Yes, if you hear the studio version before hearing the live version and know nothing about the end, you probably wouldn't even recognize it. But once you know it's there and can hear the words, it becomes really special. It's like you're waking up from a dream, and the final message is almost subliminal. One thing I love about Coldplay is that they can take a lovely ending like that and make you feel a whole different way about it live. And both versions can be great in their own ways.
  9. I think my favorite thing about this song is how fast paced and upbeat the melody is throughout, but there are some parts where Chris' voice slows down and sort of floats over it all. I want to get up and dance, but I feel completely relaxed and peaceful at the same time.

I love a song that mixes pained lyrics with an upbeat melody. To me, Ink represents the widely known, all daunting task of trying to stay positive when everything feels like it's falling apart.
  11. I know exactly what you mean. I was thinking the same thing. But I also like how it sort of makes him sound more natural. He's forced to accept the fact that he can't change his heart, and he doesn't try to cover it up by ending on a more pleasing note.

^THIS. Exactly what I felt immediately when I first heard the song. I figured at least someone else had noticed it too :P
  13. Greg USA A Message - "And I'm on fire for you, clearly." The Hardest Part - "Everything I know is wrong. Everything I do, it just comes undone. And everything is torn apart." The lyrics are so sincere, and they always have an impact on me. There are some true gems on this album.

  15. I felt the same thing. It really added to the song, for me.
  16. I'm going to be using my brother's AMEX card for the Boston presale tomorrow. Is there some sort of password AMEX cardholders need to know about in order to get tickets? I'm not sure.
  17. Hey guys I know I'm really really late in asking about this show. But I would absolutely love to go although I don't think I can camp out all night. I'll have to drive around 4 hours and maybe the earliest I can get there will be like 3am? Do you guys think it would be worth it to still go? I don't care how close I am as long as I could actually see the stage somewhat and hear it :p that's what I mean by worth it. Any input from people who went last time would be great. I've heard camping all night is good and getting there at 6 is bad, but I just dont know about in between those times. These things don't happen too often but I just don't know what to expect. Thanks guys!
  18. It doesn't seem like Coldplay is getting sick of playing the same songs over and over again. At least they don't show it anyways and that's all that matters and that's part of what makes them so great. If you think about it, the majority of people paying to see them are only going to one show. They deserve to hear the top songs, which ultimately means the same songs.
  19. I love Glee, and I'm sure they will cover some Coldplay eventually. I feel like it's hard trying to find that best spot where it will fit in, but I think it would be awesome.
  20. Hey guys this is my first post here, so forgive me if this has been mentioned before but I noticed something. It seems like all the new songs Coldplay have released/played live so far (besides POC) are bunched into the first half or so of the track listing. Maybe this says something about those songs? Maybe the second half consists of the less commercial songs to provide some nice closure to the album that most disappointed fans are waiting for? I trust that they did work hard on the order of the tracks, so I'm sure there must be something there. Or maybe it means nothing, and I am just stretching this. Thoughts? Cannot wait for the album by the way. I still love all the songs and I'm sure as a whole they will come together very nicely.
