  1. Oh, but I just put these images up because it was the exact same track listing as it is on the CD. Well, apart from the promo cd line, it's basically the same artwork, really. It was apparently on an EMI newsletter, and they said it would be available November 20, and a friend of mine in the UK claimed he had 5 copies of it He plans to sell on eBay. He's sending me a copy aswell!
  2. "Hurts Like Heaven" was released as a digital download in many countries on July 27. Proof: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurts_Like_Heaven https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/hurts-like-heaven/id546883814 https://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/hurts-like-heaven-single/id546883814 https://itunes.apple.com/de/album/hurts-like-heaven-single/id546883814?l=en http://www.discogs.com/Coldplay-Hurts-Like-Heaven/master/492805 Also, the 'release' coldplay mentioned on their facebook page is the CD single / radio promo in the UK on November 20, 2012. Yes, you heard me! A CD SINGLE! Let's have a belated party for the physical release of "Hurts Like Heaven"!
  3. Relax, it's not going to happen. I don't think Coldplay would be the type of band who buys videos off people!
  4. Bump. I almost forgot this thing existed! The era is almost over, and this should encompass everything now!
  5. My picks - So in summary, 3 Grammys to Fun and Kanye West 2 Grammys to Gotye, Muse, Florence + the Machine 1 Grammy to Coldplay, Katy Perry, Arun Shenoy, Lupe Fiasco, Foster the People, Esperanza Spalding, Paul McCartney, Avicii, deadmau5, Megadeth, SWV, Miguel, Chris Brown, R. Kelly
  6. I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really want fun. to win AOTY! Some Nights is da best! Also, Imagine Dragons' Night Visions should win next year's album of the year! It must!
  7. ^ I don't think there's a Pooh movie by that name... Maybe you mean The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh? Also, heffalumps have been part of Pooh since the beginning, but as a kid I found them scary because of their trunks!
  8. 70/100 on metacritic, 8/10 by NME, 4 stars from the Guardian, 4 stars from Digital Spy, Debut at No.1 in 10 countries including UK and France and No.1 on 15 iTunes album charts, Peak at No.2 on Billboard 200, Certified Gold in six countries so far.... Man, calling The 2nd Law a commercial flop is a huge mistake, dude.
  9. I think Coldplay's gonna lose by a very narrow margin to Muse for best rock album, just because they're Muse! and The 2nd Law critically more well received than Mylo Xyloto was. Personally, I want Muse to win! I love Mylo, but The 2nd Law is just brilliant. As for best rock song, well... you have The Black Keys, Mumford and Suns and Bruce Springsteen all in one! I hate Mumford, but I love "We Take Care of Our Own", and I think that's the song that'll should win this category. the song practically deserves the win! Although you got to take in the account that The National Academy is almost as corrupt as the Academy of Motion Pictures, and "Charlie Brown" may well wind up as the winner.
  10. Oh Christmas Lights...
  11. ^ easy. DELETE THEM  Man I feel so bad for sharing a doozey, but at the same time, I just made these guys sub-par viral, it's already at 303 views, which makes me feel a little happy for them! lol idk what happened guys, sorry! It seemed like the legit thing at the time...
  12. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdMokcL349U]Coldplay - Up In Flames [/ame] EDIT: This may or not be the actual music video. Judging by the uploader's other videos, this pair (Joseph Paul and Henry Cramer-Todd) seem to be just very good film-makers. But then again, these guys may have been hired by EMI / Parlophone! Just don't blame it on me if it turns out to be a doozey!
  13. Bump! Up in Flames has shot up in popularity, and is equal to Princess of China on the Netherlands iTunes with a 7/12 bar popularity. It has also so far charted at 92 on the Belgium (Ultratip Flanders), and at 24 on the Dutch Top 40. "Up in Flames" is so far a successful promotional single in western Europe.
  14. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m7KWA_KtxU]Hurricane - 30 Seconds to Mars[/ame]
  15. Information Telecommunication time! http://www.discogs.com/release/4074098 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Up_in_Flames_%28song%29 Also, The single has officially impacted the German airwaves! The promo is now being played in Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg and Germany. Another note, the single is now indeed the sixth from Mylo Xyloto, and not the first from Live 2012, although there are some reports that the Live 2012 version is being heard on the radio as well, meaning some of the promos may have the Live 2012 version as a second track.
  16. Is the possibility of another concept album a valid possibility? Considering art-rock Viva and concept album Mylo, I think these guys are heading in a general direction.
  17. Because the album version was so repetitive, I think the single edit is better. It's a perfect cut for a song that had only been worked on for 40 days, after all! idk, it's good enough for me!
  18. If you look closely, the symbol is inside the U, in Up in Flames. Hell, even in the projection it's hard to see  The opening drumming before Chris starts singing has been cut to 4 beats from 8 in the album. During the final chorus, the lyric "up in flames" repeats only twice before "we have slowly gone", where the album version "up in flames" is repeated three times before. The piano outro in the album version is repeated twice, on airplay, it only occurs once then fades out. The song overall has been cut by 26 seconds.
  19. Projected artwork I made myself. We know already from the oracle that there has been 17 (I think it's 17, can't exactly remember the number) versions of the MX wall, and this projection uses the album version. the real artwork is most likely from the version of the wall seen on the back of the tray on the CD release of Mylo Xyloto. You can see where it's supposed to be when you look to the left, but it's cropped out, and has "Coldplay Mylo Xyloto" written on it. So, I had to use the album version. P.S. this image is probably going to end up on many websites just like all the other ones. :laugh3:
  20. He probably means the fact that they're releasing a not-so-powerful song as a single. "Up in Flames" is a very, very soft song, after all
  21. "Magic Duel" preview from USA Today http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2012/11/26/my-little-pony/1725375/
