The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
I'm fairly hopeful about the next album. The fact that Matt hasn't changed his mind and is still going on about a heavy album is certainly a good sign. In other news, it looks like they're currently compiling some sort of collection of old footage. Hopefully this means we will get to see some nice old footage of rare songs :cheesy:

They played with Kylie but they didn't play Lhuna? :( So cool that they brought back CGYOOMH though :D

Alt-J Δ
Can't wait for the new album. I'm going to see them in Wolverhampton on the day the album comes out so hopefully the album will have either leaked or been streamed by then so I'll know the songs :laugh3:

[2-Jul-2014] Royal Albert Hall, London, UK
I'm in a queue for this already, 6 hours early :laugh3: I doubt that will increase my chances of getting one though...

[1-Jul-2014] Royal Albert Hall, London, UK
That sucks man :( ticket sites really need to up their game, this is really disappointing.

[1-Jul-2014] Royal Albert Hall, London, UK
Did ANYBODY actually succeed in getting tickets? Or have they all gone to scum- I mean touts?

Lyrics that bug you and should be changed to?
Crocodiles is a reference to Peter Pan, and I think it fits quite well if you know the context.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
If the album is really out as soon as next year, then I can imagine it being quite different to Ghost Stories. I could imagine GS and LP7 being almost like two halves of one album, with GS being the softer, mellow half and LP7 being the more upbeat, rocky side (I hope). This would also probably fit with the idea of doing a bigger tour for the next album, because obviously bigger, louder songs will better suit bigger venues. Some songs from Ghost Stories will probably stick around, especially ASFOS and probably Magic, and maybe Oceans too if they do an acoustic section at the gigs.

Radiohead
4 Minute Warning and Cuttooth :D Those are two of my favourite Radiohead songs! I don't really care what direction they go in for the next album as long as the songs are good. Which, judging by the new songs played on the TKOL tour, they probably will be :) edit: Also I don't think they will make music similar to AFP, that's a completely separate project and I think Thom would like to keep it that way.
-
Radiohead
Well if the next album has any of the following songs (or ones as good as these) I will be very happy: Identikit Cut a Hole Skirting on the Surface Ful Stop The Present Tense Follow Me Around

Radiohead
THEY NEED TO HURRY UP AND COME BACK. NEED TO SEE THEM LIVE :bomb:

Ghost Stories Unreleased Tracks
I want Car Kids what ever song had the cool lyrics on the cover of MX. :( I'm pretty sure they mentioned ghosts as well so that would have totally fit on Ghost Stories.

[19-May-2014] Royce Hall, Los Angeles, USA
Wow, I wonder what made them decide to play A Whisper? :laugh3: So random but awesome. I hope they keep up the surprises :wideeyed:
-
Radiohead
Probably. If anything most people seem to think it's a rip-off of Madness by Muse (which I disagree with)

[1-Jul-2014] Royal Albert Hall, London, UK
Bloody hell. I'll go for gallery because that's the cheapest and I won't mind being so far away for my first Coldplay gig... but still, that's shockingly expensive. £90 is too much for a gig, no matter who is playing IMO.

Frank Turner
How are there only 10 replies to this thread? :stunned: Frank Turner is one of my favourite musicians, not to mention a fantastic live performer. I've seen him play a sold out arena show and a pub in Winchester and both were among the greatest concerts I've ever been to. He's also one of the nicest musicians on the planet without a doubt.

[5-May-2014] Beacon Theatre, New York, USA
Why are they playing such short shows? :( If I get a ticket for the RAH show and they only play for an hour I will be very sad :(
-
U2
I thought they'd nearly finished the new album and it was due out this year :( I preferred Ordinary Love to Invisible originally, thought Invisible was a bit shit but I heard it on the radio the other day and actually liked it :laugh3: I don't think I've listened to OL since the first time. I like NLOTH, probably prefer it to ATYCLB and Pop.

The Damon Albarn thread.
The gig was incredible! The new songs all sounded great live, but I still find History of a Cheating Heart to be a bit boring. It was nice that he played it for us though because I don't think he played it the previous night. I was so happy to hear All Your Life live too :wacky:  There were loads of Gorillaz songs, which I didn't expect but it was awesome. Damon shook hands with the person next to me in Kids With Guns (I think), which made me a bit jealous, but I was happy for her :) Oh and there were lovely piano + strings versions of two Blur songs which were unbelievably pretty :dazzled:

The Damon Albarn thread.
It seems nobody else is still around :( Anyway, I'm seeing Damon tomorrow AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
