They can have a song for themselves too!
  3. Woah, woah woah! You need to listen to some of their other stuff. If you have only heard Starlight then you haven't lived!
  4. What about The Bends? :surprised:
  5. This! And anyway, I'd hardly call them 'big tours' nowadays anyway. It doesn't matter that they don't have a new album out, we should be glad they're touring at all. That said, I don't expect them to keep touring forever with no new material. Whether that's a new album or just singles like Under the Westway I don't care. edit: And I also agree that it's a good thing they're giving the UK a rest and focusing on their international fans for a while. After all, since 2003 they've only played in 5 different countries, including the UK.

Songs that should stay as staples for the next tour: Yellow Clocks The Scientist Fix You Viva La Vida Lovers in Japan Paradise Charlie Brown ETIAW IMO they should ideally be starting to rotate songs each setlist, to add a bit of variety to the setlists. So here are some songs that could rotate: In My Place / Shiver GPASUYF / Talk / Violet Hill Trouble / Warning Sign / Amsterdam / Green Eyes (piano) / The Hardest Part (piano) Sparks / Speed of Sound (acoustic) / A Message / Strawberry Swing Maybe also some other random rarities like 42, Square One, Cemeteries of London, Daylight, Politik and Everything's Not Lost could pop up from time to time as well.
  7. :awesome:
  8. Up With the Birds 12 Square One 8 ------------------------------- Daylight 18 How You See The World 2 ------------------------------- The Hardest Part 0 Lovers in Japan 20

I still haven't received mine, but I'm glad that my person received my card :)
  11. ...and runners-up!
  12. Guns are the weapons of choice for these sick, twisted people who do such things. I know knives can be just as deadly as guns in the wrong hands, but you definitely hear more stories about someone killing a bunch of people with a gun than someone using a knife to cause the same amount of damage. I don't claim to be an expert on criminal or psychopathic behaviour, but if I was a crazy who wanted to kill a load of people I'd go for a gun rather than a knife. (I hope that didn't sound too messed up :uhoh:) Also the fact that gun massacres get much more media attention than knife massacres (from what I've seen), makes them seem like more of an attractive option for some sick bastard who wants attention. This is why everyone's saying guns should be controlled rather than knifes.
  13. I don't want to get right at the barrier (well, it would be cool but there's no way I'm getting there at 2am) so roughly what time should I arrive if I want to get a reasonably good spot i.e. the front third or so of the stadium?

    I still haven't got mine!
  15. Got enough smileys there Molly? :laugh3:
  16. Jeeeeesus. :( Besides all the kids that will potentially be scarred for life (and the families that have lost little ones ) I also feel sorry for the brother of the shooter, whose life the media have essentially fucked up. He should sue every news channel that broadcast his name.

  18. Massive Bump! Is anyone getting From The Ground Up (Music Edition)? It comes with a 15 track CD of songs from the 360 tour selected by the Edge and they're getting people to guess what songs will be on it. I thought it would be fun to try and guess the tracklist. The only known songs so far are Breathe, 40, New Year's Day, Vertigo, Electrical Storm and Get On Your Boots. NLOTH and Spanish Eyes are confirmed not to be on it, and none of the 'new' songs are on it. Also nothing that was on U22 will be on it either. My guess: 1. Breathe 2. Get On Your Boots 3. I Will Follow 4. New Year's Day 5. Stuck in a Moment 6. In a Little While 7. Miss Sarajevo 8. Electrical Storm 9. Vertigo 10. I'll Go Crazy 11. Sunday Bloody Sunday 12. Pride 13. Scarlet 14. Hold Me, Thrill Me 15. 40
  19. I just thought of another one: Muse - Endlessly

  23. James. replied to Batman's topic in The Lounge
Definitely not a hipster cat.... maybe kind of a cunning, sneaky looking cat. I don't mind what colour really! :P

Almight lord Thalia of Cats, I desire one of your fine feline avatars! Can I have a smart cat, if it's not too much trouble? Pretty please? :wacky:
