The video's alright. I never really pay attention to music videos anyway.

That's the Kitara isn't it? I think they said in an interview recently that Chris uses it for Madness.

[4-Sep-2012] Coldplay @ RheinEnergieStadion, Cologne, Germany
Courtesy of Google Translate  1st one: A day of show sizes in Cologne. Even the British band "Coldplay" with frontman Chris Martin and Cologne-lover was in the cathedral city. From the kick-off with fireworks and multicolored lights many fans were unfortunately with nothing because they put in the absolute traffic chaos around the stadium. So they got nothing, unfortunately with the beautiful colored lights. For every viewer had to get input on a glowing bracelet in red, green, yellow or blue gift. [9-Sep-2012] Coldplay @ Paralympics Closing Ceremony, London, UK (please post your reviews for Wiki,
I don't mind if they play PoC, after all it is their current single (I'm not counting HLH because I'm pretty sure even the band forgot they released that one ) It's not that likely that they will play Lost+ I reckon, because if they really are performing with Jay-Z then I expect they would pick a more well-known song. They have played some of Jay-Z's songs with him before haven't they?

That would be absolutely amazing.

LP6
I think Us Against the World will probably stay. Even if it's not played frequently in the future, I reckon they'll bring it back every now and then, like Til Kingdom Come and Green Eyes.

Radiohead
How exciting for you! :D

How Will the One-Year Hiatus Affect the Music, LP6?
I think taking a year off will certainly give them a chance to really think about where they want to go with LP6. Hopefully it will allow them to focus on creating a really good, solid album if they don't have to worry about touring or promoting new material. It will be like 2007 when they basically spent the whole year working on Viva while soaking up influences from the places they went to. Maybe they won't spend 2013 recording in churches, but I'm sure spending time with their families will give them the inspiration they need, and allow them to come back with a 'clean slate' like they did with Viva.

so... no car kids??
Nope. Well, there was a recording of a sound-check where Chris was playing a song that might have been Car Kids, but it's only about 5 seconds so it's impossible to tell what it really sounds like

Live Tumblr blog from Paris on Sunday (AKA how to drive Tash crazy)
What about Celine (aka Coeurli)? Didn't she go? Has she tweeted anything about the concert?

This is madness! They finally decide to change up the setlist, and we get... this?! I would be OK with them playing Umbrella if it didn't mean dropping Warning Sign and Speed of Sound from the setlist! I'm just hoping that they did play them, and its just that they weren't mentioned on the live blog... :\

It's the really boring one with Chris on the piano and Will playing the electric drums on the X-Stage, just after PoC.

I think I remember him saying something about changes happening "a long way down the line" or something... Anyway he seemed to suggest that if those songs did return, it would be in a long time, presumably more than two months. Also, remember back in December (I think) he said they were practising a brand new song that may be added to the setlists eventually - and that hasn't happened yet.

so... no car kids??
Some people just want to watch the fans burn...

Doctor Who ???......
Pretty good episode, for Stephen Moffatt.

When Exactlly Did Coldplay Become A Big Band?
I would say 2002, with the release of In My Place and AROBTTH.
-
so... no car kids??
I think if we do hear Car Kids during this era it will be played live as a 'special treat' in South America, like Don Quixote was on the Viva Tour. Then maybe in 2031 they will release it on a special 20th anniversary edition of MX

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Anyone applied for tickets for Muse at the Roundhouse on 30th September? I know there's about 0.000000000001% chance that I will get them but I decided to give it a go anyway :laugh3:

Least favourite song from each album?
Exactly  It's just your least favourite song on each album. You can still like all the songs, but it's just the ones that you like the least.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
No, but they did do a duet with Jessie J at the Olympic closing ceremony :P
