The Blur Thread
It turns out that the email was actually saying that it had been dispatched to the delivery company or something, who apparently aren't allowed to deliver the tickets until 7 days before the concert. I'm going to be away up until the day before the concert, so I won't know until then if they have actually sent them

[24-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Canada
So they played Trouble again? Was that because the drum machine broke again or was it planned?

The Blur Thread
That sounds weird  I got an email saying they've dispatched it and it should arrive within 5 working days but that was over a week ago...

Has anyone else's tickets arrived yet? I haven't got mine yet and I think I should have got them by now.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
This weeks NME has a treasure trove of information about T2L! :awesome: It isn't released until tomorrow, but someone on .mu got it early and posted scans!! Basic information: - Supremacy is described as "swamp blues" - Madness is a love song, and the next single - Panic Station is 80s Prince-style with 'sex gasps' from Matt - Survival works better in the context of the album - Follow Me has Bing's heartbeat in it - Animals is flamenco and has lyrics about bankers killing themselves - Explorers is "choral pop" about dying crops - Save Me and Liquid State are written by and sung by Chris and are about his drinking problem - Big Freeze is described as a "stadium stomp" - Unsustainable and Isolated System are "doom drenched operas full of news reports from the end of civilisation" - Chris claims that the new tour will feature oldies returning and lots more rotation. There's a lot more, but that's the basic rundown for anyone that doesn't want to read the magazine.

Ever have a dream about Coldplay?
I had a dream last night where Coldplay released a new song, and for once I can actually remember what the song was like! :o The weird thing was that the song was like a combination of many other songs - mainly unreleased ones. It started out like Ladder to the Sun, but with updated lyrics and more synths, but then the chorus was completely different. I remember the chorus started with "And the car kids sing..." and then it was Rihanna's voice singing the chorus of For Tomorrow by Blur :blank: There was a music video for the song which featured the band playing the song in front of the graffiti wall which scrolled past behind them. The song also included lots of references to names like Golden Arrow, Great Expectations and Rex. The song ended with a weird dubsteppy sort of section which faded away to silence, then there was a hidden track which I didn't get to hear :( The weirdest part of the dream was that it was more like a dream within a dream (Inception!). After I had heard the song I 'woke up' and went to coldplaying.com to post about it in the dream thread, then I saw that Coldplay had actually released the song and it was exactly the same as what I had heard! :o There was a message from the band saying something like "This is our new single "Spanish Rain" we're sorry it doesn't sound anything like the old Spanish Rain, we only called it that because we like the name" :\ Then I started telling everyone that I had predicted the song in my dream, but nobody would listen and then I finally woke up for real.

See what song was No.1 on the day you were born
Just think, in about 10 years people will be doing this and putting 'Coldplay - Viva la Vida' and we will all feel really old :\

The Blur Thread
I just love the random noises and talking you hear throughout that album. Especially the random "Oooooooooh... ch ch ch ch ch" at the beginning of Trimm Trabb :wacky: and the random stuff at the beginning of BLUREMI :laugh3:

What's your LEAST favourite Coldplay song??
42 is awesome! The first part slowly builds up and then BANG! Epicness begins! Least favourite song on VLV is definitely Lost! for me.

Hurts Like Heaven 5th MX Single
I've just realised this, and I don't know if anyone else has thought of this, but it looks like they've been adding stuff to the graffiti wall since the album was released... As people have noticed, both the POC and HLH artwork are subtly different from their respective sections of the 'original' graffiti wall. Maybe there's some significance to the things they've added or changed, such as the addition of the 'Car Kids' quite clearly on the HLH cover. I may just be over-analysing things as usual though :P

Hurts Like Heaven 5th MX Single
 Once again, they should have gone with the one from the pop-up album. (at least I think that's where it was from)

Coldplay when they're old.. o_o
I don't think it's to do with the quality of the music at all. U2 are a great example because as you said, their more recent music hasn't topped their earlier music, however on the 360 tour they were still enjoying themselves while also putting on amazing shows for their fans. Even if 20 years from now Coldplay's music isn't as good, as long as they are still having fun and doing great concerts then they should keep going as long as they want :)

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Even so, the majority of Radiohead songs do not sound like Muse songs. And vice versa.
