LP6
Yes. By now they should definitely be capable of creating an album by themselves, just the four (well, five) of them, no Eno. He's taught them everything they need to know about making an album, so now it's their turn to show what they can do without his guidance.

Death of the text?
What's up with that Mark guy? Why was he banned? I've seen a load of his posts and I don't see anything banworthy...

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Wow, the Muse boards are still down, nearly an hour after the song was played :laugh3: Anyway, I may as well give my 2 cents here... I don't like it. I can immediately throw it in with UD as one of the few Muse songs I actually dislike. I'll tolerate it, but out of the three songs I've heard so far this is definitely my least favourite. I know it's supposed to be 'out of their comfort zone' and all that, and I was expecting something similar to UD, but I was hoping for it to build to much more of a climax. I guess it kind of did, but not in the way I was expecting. The closest thing I can think of to a redeeming feature is that at least it has a somewhat decent guitar bit ('solo' seems a bit too generous a description) while the same can not be said for UD. I'll say this sits at about the same level as Guiding Light, for me anyway. Hearing this doesn't make me less optimistic about the album, however. The rest of the album really does sound promising, especially Supremacy, Animals, Explorers and Chris's two songs. I'm pretty confident that this will be the only song like this on the album. (OK, maybe except Follow Me) I can imagine this song will take over as the 'piss-break' song in live concerts. Which at least means that Undisclosed Desires probably won't be needed anymore. edit: Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention this  I'm not even a very big Queen fan, but I can instantly hear the similarities. I'm OK with the level of Queen-ness on USoE and Survival but this song just takes the piss. Also, I can kind of see where the U2 similarities are coming from. Listening to the song, I was reminded of 'Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World' (which is also my least favourite song on Achtung Baby :P)

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Why does every song ever always have to be premiered when I'm unable to listen to the radio  edit: Listening to it now... sounds like Undisclosed Desires 2.0

I think every human being should get Blur's entire discography. edit: I'm listening to Think Tank right now... Man, that album is just beautiful. Sweet Song

You're entitled to your opinion of course, but I think Blur's music is miles better than Oasis'. Don't get me wrong, I think Noel Gallagher is a great song-writer, but Blur's music is so much more unique and original. I mean, all of the Oasis songs that I've heard sound pretty much the same whereas Blur have so many different sounds and styles. Anyway, my Parklive CD arrived today! I haven't listened to it all yet but I'm pleased to see that 2 songs from the second Wolverhampton show are included as bonus tracks :D And one of them is Colin Zeal!!!

What about the Mince Spies EP? How limited was that?

What is THE rarest Coldplay release?
There must be, as someone who owned one leaked it in 2006. Not sure how many exist though.

Hehehehe that poll is impossible. Like I could really pick my favourite Blur album  I voted for Modern Life Is Rubbish, but only because I'm still on a high from hearing Colin Zeal and Intermission live :D At any other time it could just as easily be Parklife, Blur, 13 or The Great Escape .

Another thing I noticed is on the tracklist it says Under the Westway/Commercial Break even though I'm pretty sure they played Intermission, not Commercial Break. At least they played it in Wolverhampton so I would assume they played it in Hyde Park as well. Also, I really wanna get Blur 21 :bomb: when it came out I thought I could resist it, but now the attraction of all those b-sides and unreleased demos is too strong!

I've just ordered Parklive :) I didn't go to Hyde Park but the setlist was basically the same as the concert I went to :P Only The Puritan is missing, did they really not play that? I guess they will include it as one of the bonus tracks from the warm-up shows.
