  1. I do like some of the songs on Amnesiac more than some on Kid A, but since the two albums were basically recorded during the same sessions I can't really compare the two. They're pretty much just two parts of the same album. The same goes for U2's Zooropa. But this isn't the place to discuss Radiohead :laugh3:
  2. Hey guys! I've never really been into Green Day, but my brother got me Dookie for my birthday and I think it's great! Any suggestions for what I should listen to next? :)
  3. At least Hiding To... isn't an actual title on the album :laugh2: It must have been a working title or something.
  4. Or Radiohead with Amnesiac

I really liked Bucket for a Crown instrumentally, but Chris probably just made up the lyrics as he sang the song :laugh3:
  7. Are you sure that's correct? Setlist.fm has Idioteque as the last song of the first encore.

By "lets hope" I assume you mean "I hope." There are definitely a lot of fans who like the fact that there is a story to MX and who have enjoyed guessing and interpreting the story.
  9. Yeah, there are a bunch of other songs that I would love to see but couldn't fit into my setlist without it being ridiculously long: She's So High Bang Advert Colin Zeal Coping Intermission/Commercial Break/Lot 105... any of the instrumentals they have done Magic America Trouble in the Message Centre Jubilee Top Man Mr. Robinson's Quango It Could Be You M.O.R. On Your Own Essex Dogs Coffee & TV Trimm Trabb 1992 Battery in Your Leg Fool's Day
  10. The extra 1 second at the beginning contains a hidden message from Chris reading the names of all the unreleased songs that will never be released. You can only hear it if you slow it down to 0.005% speed, reverse it and listen during a solar eclipse while standing on your head.
  11. It's awfully quiet around here! Anyway, I've been trying to think what would be my ideal Blur setlist. Obviously I will be ecstatic whatever songs they play, but something like this would be amazing! :wideeyed: (Theme From Retro intro music) Beetlebum There's No Other Way Girls & Boys Star Shaped Blue Jeans Bank Holiday Badhead Good Song Out Of Time Tender Stereotypes Chemical World Country House Parklife End Of A Century No Distance Left To Run Death Of A Party This Is A Low The Universal For Tomorrow Song 2 Popscene Globe Alone The Puritan Strange News From Another Star He Thought Of Cars Sing Under The Westway TFR intro and opening with Beetlebum because of the 15th anniversary of Blur (the album) :) Also, this was really really hard! Especially as it pretty much has to sum up their entire career in one setlist. I can't imagine how hard it must be for the band to actually make the setlists for real!
  12. That's it, I can't keep up with this anymore :P It doesn't look like I have a chance of saving DAAHF  Looks like it will be a battle between Clocks and Politik in the end!
  13. Treefingers?! How on earth did they pull that off?
  14. And Famous Old Painters! What I would love is if the comic is filled with little references to Coldplay songs, old and new, even perhaps unreleased ones. For example, Mylo could go to Amsterdam, or drink a glass of water, or get swallowed in the sea... or climb a ladder to the sun! How cool would that be?
  15. I believe they have been planning it this whole time
  16. "You see the world in black and white, not painted right" :shocked2:
  17. "Who is Major Minus?" So Major Minus is some kind of character after all! :D

^ I agree that LP6 should have more songs similar to Moving to Mars  I think Moving to Mars is an amazing song, and when I heard it I knew that I wanted to hear more songs like it. It reminds me of songs like 42, X&Y, Amsterdam and Swallowed in the Sea. There's something about those sorts of songs that I find both chillingly beautiful and awesomely epic at the same time, and none of the songs on MX really captured that feeling IMO. That's obviously why MtM had to be a b-side rather than on the actual album. But I hope that MtM was a sign of things to come - I was thinking earlier about Chris having a scale model of the solar system built (back in 2010 I think), and how that must have been part of some other side of MX that we never saw. Perhaps Moving to Mars and U.F.O. were all that remained from that little project (and maybe Alien Radio, whatever that was). I hope that we get to hear more of that side of Coldplay on LP6.
  20. I hope so! I know it's unlikely but maybe they will release new songs that are related to the comic somehow? Maybe as b-sides to HLH, if not then maybe an EP.
  21. Clocks 29 Death And All His Friends 9 Politik 30
  22. X&Y La Vida or A Rush of Blood to Mylo and all his Parachutes is my favourite album.
