I think the transition between Lovers in Japan and The Scientist is pretty good on this tour. But I do miss the CB-LIFL transition from last year. :cry: And I think the end of Violet Hill would be a perfect way to lead into Talk. Just sayin'.

I wouldn't say it is their best album, but I love it as it's the first Coldplay album I ever listened to. Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with albums being long, as long as the songs are fresh and diverse enough to remain interesting all the way through. I think if X&Y was any longer I wouldn't be able to listen to it all the way through in one go, and that would sort of ruin it for me.

Oh yeah, Fillip is a weird one as well :confused: For some reason I'm not that keen on songs like Unintended, Falling Down, Soldier's Poem etc. I'm not saying I don't like those songs exactly, I just prefer to hear Muse's more rocky stuff. Even songs like Starlight and Time Is Running Out I would rather listen to.

I agree. Some of the songs on it are very good considering it's their first album, but it is let down by some of the more 'emo' songs, for want of a better word. (Falling Down, Overdue, I'm looking at you.)
