  1. I hope we get it sooner than that. They've been working on new songs for three years (Return of the Stingray Guitar etc.) and apparently they have enough for three whole albums or something like that. Chris Martin has even tried to persuade Bono to release the album as soon as possible :laugh3: So I would hope for an announcement sometime this year.
  2. Spies time is so short
  3. What time is it over in Vancouver? I need to know if it's worth staying up for info.
  4. I think this Muse setlist would be close to perfect for me: Intro + Apocalypse Please New Born Fury Map of the Problematique Butterflies & Hurricanes Citizen Erased Micro Cuts United States of Eurasia + Collateral Damage Ruled by Secrecy Uprising Interlude + Hysteria Exo-Politics Uno MK Ultra Plug In Baby Stockholm Syndrome + many riffs Sunburn Assassin (Grand Omega Bosses edit) Knights of Cydonia + Space Dementia outro Megalomania Unnatural Selection Showbiz + Ashamed riff But with the new album coming up I'm sure there could soon be some additions to this!
  5. Hahahaa, there is a definitely audible "Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" coming from the audience when he starts singing Warning Sign :laugh3:
  6. Actually, since BHAR, their setlists have become pretty predictable and repetitive in my opinion (and many other Musers') :\
  7. Considering the re-introduction of the C-Stage, I wish they would use it for more than one song. I think they should rotate what songs they play on the C-Stage (always keeping UATW of course) with a selection of some of their more intimate songs. And they should definitely do 2 encores, it feels weird that they were doing 2 encores in the Viva tour, and now they've gone back to only one again. So here would be a good setlist for this tour: Mylo Xyloto Hurts Like Heaven In My Place Major Minus Lovers In Japan The Scientist Yellow Strawberry Swing White Shadows B-Stage: U.F.O. Princess Of China Up In Flames Don't Let It Break Your Heart Viva La Vida Charlie Brown Paradise Life Is For Living C-Stage: A Message Us Against The World Up With The Birds Encore: Clocks Fix You Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall Encore 2: Politik Everything's Not Lost A Message could be rotated with other songs like Warning Sign, Sparks, Green Eyes etc. The last two songs before the B-Stage could be rotated between different Viva and X&Y songs. The main set closer could be rotated between Life Is For Living, Amsterdam and Death And All His Friends.
  8. True, but don't forget they could still play a new song live and put it on the Live album like they did with Moses in 2003.
  9. What If driven to distraction
  10. Thanks! I think I like this version of Warning Sign better than the original. Especially the beautiful outro :D
  11. It's not one of my favourites from X&Y, but it's definitely an underrated song (like the whole album) and they should play it live again :D
  12. Hahahaha :laugh3: I never thought I would see Chris doing a Trollface...
  13. I was just about to post this, well done. You get a cyber cookie!
  14. I dunno :inquisitive: All those flashing lights make it hard to see  When he starts singing (from about 0:40) I can clearly see him skipping merrily around the ramp. But when he goes back to the main stage (from about 1:40) it looks like he's playing the guitar. At least, from what I can make out from the flashing images on the screen. I can't see him playing the piano at all
  15. I think that's down to the quality of the one video we have so far, that and it's the first time they've played it, so it's bound to be rusty. Once we start to see some better quality live versions I'm sure it will sound perfect :)
  16. That is basically Blur's entire career in a box!
  17. :dead:
  18. So, it looks like Chris is playing acoustic guitar in this one :surprised: (I was expecting piano)
  19. Helsinki Jam is awesome! :awesome: I hope Muse continue to play it on the new tour.
  20. It sounds amazing :awesome: and it more than makes up for the lack of Politik! (Yes, I just said that!:o) Sadly, from the video at least, it looked like the audience didn't react much during the song :\ I guess a lot were casual fans who hadn't heard it before or didn't realise it was the first time they had ever played it :laugh3:
  21. More than 25 songs would be a bit of a stretch I think. U2 are a band that have been around for three times as long as Coldplay, and their longest concerts have been 25/26 songs. I think anything between 20-24 songs would be fine for Coldplay at this stage in their career.
  22. Actually, maybe it wasn't Fix You. It only says 'a new song that Chris was working on for 'his girfriend' (Gwyneth Paltrow)' so it could have been Moses or something.
  23. http://start.mobilebeat.com/showthread.php?3685-Grammy-Winner-Coldplay-opens-for-Toad Does anyone know if this is true??? Apparently they played Fix You 2 years before it was even released!
