  4. ^ The song Muse wrote for Twilight, Neutron Star Collision, is a terrible song though. My theory is that Matt wrote it as a sort of 'fuck you' to Twilight. Dunno about 15 Step though.
  5. Not confused the martin and moses thanks. :dozey:
  6. Well there's this living sun which infects this guy and he goes around killing people so I guess that's kind of like a zombie :laugh3: The episode is called 42 because they have 42 minutes to save everyone and the episode is 42 minutes long so its all in real-time which is cool. I think the number 42 also pops up a few times in the episode. I guess the song is called that because of the theme of trying to find further meaning to life (time is so short and I'm sure there must be something more...) hence 42 which is supposed to be the meaning of life according to Hitchhiker's.
  7. It's a shame that the episode '42' was aired in 2007 otherwise they could have used the song 42 in it. It would have fit really well I think!
  8. Hahaha, that's actually a coincidence! Or is it? :o
  9. Yes, Ian only just added it. And it was me who suggested it :D
  10. :cake: enough said :blank:

  12. I'm excited for Muse's album because it'll be the first new album since I started listening to them. Also they say it'll be vastly different from their previous music so that probably means no more crazy apocalyptic conspiracy stuff (Though I actually liked that). I hope they don't go all electronic on us though.
  13. When your friend comes over to your house and puts on his mp3 and you find out he has a load of Coldplay songs on there, which is a surprise as you thought all your friends hated Coldplay! :)
  14. ^I think he meant the interview where Chris said he had a 'radio station' in his head that played music 24 hours a day. He must have misunderstood what Chris meant. :laugh3:
  15. Ugh, I just had to deal with some troll on setlist.fm who posted this as the setlist for this event It would have been an awesome setlist though. Maybe it was someone from Coldplay hinting at a future setlist :wideeyed:
  16. Blur's performance at the Brits wasn't their best. The main problem was the song choice, especially the first two they played (Girls & Boys and Song 2). Those have never been their strongest songs live, but they have some epic live songs, believe me. I'm confident that at the Olympic closing concert they will play a much better set, probably with some fan favourites that work well live and not just 'greatest hits'. As for Coldplay, I think they would be a great choice of band for the Olympics, but the band are touring in North America at that time, so they wouldn't be able to make it. I'm sure if they were able to make it then they would have agreed to play at the Olympics, it's just that I guess touring the new album is more important to them right now.
  17. 1. For Tomorrow - Blur 2. No Surprises - Radiohead 3. Nothing To Give - White Lies 4. Death And All His Friends - Coldplay 5. Birthday - Kings Of Leon 6. New Year's Day - U2 7. Uprising - Muse 8. Parklife - Blur 9. First Steps (Demo) - Coldplay 10. Pour Me (Live) - Coldplay
  18. I also like Electioneering :D. Then again I've only really listened to like 25 of their songs... I'm off to listen to Kid A, see ya :escaping:
  19. Epic Bump! Sawed-off shotgun = awesome Silverback = awesome Retro Lancer = awesome Beast Mode = awesome Horde Mode = awesome-er Epic did a good job with the single player, but forcing people to buy DLC in order to play multiplayer =
  20. Heh, you're like the opposite of me. I'm starting at The Bends and working forwards :P Right now OK Computer is one of my favourite albums ever :dazzled: I love every song on it (except Fitter Happier... that one just confuses me). I also love Subterranean Homesick Alien, its one of my favourites along with Let Down, Airbag and Lucky :nice: I tried listening to In Rainbows earlier, but I think I'm too much of a Radiohead n00b to understand it :disappointed: I might try Kid A seeing as that seems to be high on most people's lists.
  21. 1. Vertigo - U2 2. With Or Without You - U2 3. Dark Shines - Muse 4. Mysterious Ways - U2 5. Major Minus - Coldplay 6. Knocked Up - Kings Of Leon 7. Paranoid Android - Radiohead 8. My Iron Lung - Radiohead 9. Parachutes - Coldplay 10. Gravity - Coldplay
  22. Strings, synths whatever. My point is that Chris used to play them and he doesn't anymore.
  23. Let's look at Radiohead. They are also one of the world's most successful acts, and from what I've seen/heard they rarely play two setlists the same in a tour. Now granted RH have been around a bit longer than Coldplay, but Coldplay still have enough of a back catalogue that they could mix up their setlists a bit.
  24. I've seen live performances of In My Place from around 2000/2001 and Chris used to play the synths in In My Place on his keyboard. Now that's all on a backing track. :\ I guess that was before he discovered his natural dancing talent :P
