Noel Gallagher
Yeah, the "leak" is just the audio rip from the radio stream. As for the record, it's what you expect a Noel Gallagher solo effort to sound like - I give it a 6 out of 10.

Coldplay Interview on Influences for MX (Hip-Hop, Dance, etc)
I don't mind them listening to Kanye, Jay-Z or whatever for musical influence.... as long as they incorporate elements of the genre in an effective manner. Granted, we have a limited sample (as we don't have the album yet) but from the songs I've heard, the band's efforts to instill hip hop elements sound amateurish and uninspired.

wedding bells
 I don't see what's so special about Wedding Bells, at least the acoustic versions we've heard so far.

Occupy Wall Street Movement
That's a fair point but is that what Occupy Wall Street is actually protesting? Since I live in the Tri-state area, I went down a couple of times to see what people were protesting. I heard chants of "Free Health Care for all" and "Legalize Marijuana" among other things. Very few people really seemed to understand the economy or worse, what investment banking actually is. The article I posted earlier also reflect the same sentiment: the majority of people remain in the dark about OWS's goals.

Up In Flames
It's a pretty boring song so far but I'll save my final judgements until I hear the studio version. If the SPIN reviewer is correct and Up In Flames is similar to James Blake's work, then I'm genuinely excited.

I just expected more from Four Tet + Jamie xx.

Favorite TKOL Remixes
Yeah, I think the consensus is that the Caribou + Jacques Greene Rmx are the best of the lot. It's a shame they were the first batch though. :(

LIGHTS
I'm familiar with Lights - just not a fan, although to be fair I've really only listened to the singles from The Listening. I heard she has a new album out. Is it any good?

New Video = New Single?
Umm, they actually are. In fact, both Japan and the Koreas have regular sandstorm alerts due to the amount of sand that blows over from China. Here's just an article that explains the desertification problem in China: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12112518 This is the second time you tried for "sarcasm" but just ended up being wrong.

Occupy Wall Street Movement
I saw that Tumblr link too and although I sympathize with these people's situations, I'm still confused how Wall Street is at fault here. As one poster commented, "Nobody has ever held a gun to my head and said “here sign this student loan” nobody has ever told me I would ever be rich once I get my degree. We are responsible for our own actions and the decisions we make." (This is from an Oct 6 Tumblr post from your link) Will this be the start of a revolution? This article does a nice job of explaining why the whole movement will probably not amount to anything substantial: http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2011/10/5-reasons-why-occupy-wall-street-wont-work/246041/ (And I say all of this as part of the 99%)

Occupy Wall Street Movement
They really need to articulate their goal(s) or long-term strategy. To this date, I still have no idea what Occupy Wall Street is attempting to achieve and that's a problem for the sustainability of these protests. (From LA Times) The posters in Zuccotti Park speak to the lack of a narrow platform: "End financial aid to Israel"; "End greed, end poverty, end war"; "No death penalty"; "Tired of racism."

Radiohead
Don't get me wrong - I would love another Radiohead album. But I can't help but think back to the Gilles Peterson interview where Thom said he's putting the finishing touches on the Atoms for Peace album. Realistically speaking, I just don't think they had enough time to work on a new Radiohead album.

Will Mylo Xyloto leak? ** EFFECTIVE 16-10 LINKS NOT PERMITTED ** (PART I)
I would be fine if they took 3+ years as long as the end product was a masterpiece. For example, Portishead released their third album 10 years after their second one. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nbj2vQXVDKU]Portishead-The Rip - YouTube[/ame]

Radiohead
The countdown ends Oct. 13, which coincidentally falls on a full moon - TKOL was also released on a full moon. Oct. 13 would also mark 35 weeks since the release of TKOL, the same amount of time between the release of Kid A and Amnesiac. Some people have been speculating that it might be a countdown for another album. Obviously, I would love it if this was true but I just don't think they have enough material for another album. Maybe an EP?

Will You Listen On The 19th?
TKOL is definitely an underrated album but I definitely won't recommend it first.

Mylo Xyloto Reviews - Media
Us Against the World is a very good song as is but the layers of church organs could really add to the atmosphere and create more texture in the song. After all, this is Brian Eno's strongpoint. (I do fear the Major Minus treatment where there is too much tinkering in the studio version).
