So according to this attendee, there will be a benefit concert coming up soon with michael j. fox, which is good news to us who are in withdrawals :) "he did "clocks" "the scientist" "yellow" "vida la vida" a song that will be in the new hunger games movie a cover of "earth angel" a bob dylan cover and one other song that i didn't know. it was pretty special. he was totally sweet and endearing and REAL. he forgot the lyrics to "clocks" and had to start over - asked people not to put it in youtube and then joked that it was probably already uploaded. he started the set by saying he'd just moved to LA and wanted to make some new friends :) it was also a warm up set for a benefit show coldplay is doing honoring "back to tech future" with michael j. fox. it was an all around magical tuesday night surprise - and btw, totally secret. we got there about 15 minutes before he started thinking it would be a mob scene and walked right in - i got to stand toward the front and enjoy the set - it was super mellow and rad - like he was playing in someone's living room :) "

That's just amazing! I guess this is the first ever full solo show that he has done right? full as in 60-90 minutes. a couple of tweets said it was as long as 90 minutes. EDIT: actually supposedly it was 45 minutes.. Also this is so sweet..

unless she has really harmed people, this reports about the article really baffle me. if it is very gossip-like and dig into her private/family life that non of us has business with, then it would be very skeevy and vindictive on the magazine's part. my guess is that this is much-a-do about nothing. i too hope that chris (or the band by extension) wouldn't be dragged into this and slammed in some way.

so apparently there will be a live web feed of the red carpet. chances of chris being there are slim i guess. but at least we'll see the acceptance speech according to the report. no word on the performance though. link

I watched it yesterday actually. it is not in the least predictable and keeps the suspense through out and to the very last frame! i really enjoyed it and was thinking out it way after finishing the movie.

^ i guess it doesn't hurt that the band being honoured is popular and the fact that the song is to be performed at the ceremony probably would garner more publicity to the award show in different circles. according to the article, it is the first in the awards show of the season, so probably not that popular.

So Atlas will receive a hollywood award per this and seems like only chris will perform in the awards show. guess this means it has a chance of getting some recognition from more prestigious awards shows.
