  1. That was rude. Yes, I think if the Beatles were at their prime now, they'd be making cutting edge experimental music.
  2. ^^Forgive me oh sex god. :disappointed: How do you think it compares to IR and their previous work?
  3. TKOL is not a good album. I bet they made it so short not to rival In Rainbows. It's like an electronic "dance" EP. Lotus Flower really stands out. MX > TKOL :escaping:

Poor Jonnyboy, look at him trying to move away. :disappointed: That's the only pic I've seen of Jonny being guilty of Buckin. :charming: Real subtle move there Chris. :wink3:
  5. I meant what I said. It was my impression that more people enjoyed that night's performances. But it was a better night for Coldplay. They won 1 award, which isn't a big difference from 0 Grammys, but losing 3 was definitely a downer. +Their performance was better, and Chris performed with NGHFB!
  6. Voted. It's 50.01 : 49.99 for the Arctic Monkeys. :wideeyed:
  7. Touché! :charming: We know the tour continues in April, and they actually did surprisingly few TV appearances during the break. They're probably just... living.
  8. There were threads for both events, and the comments were hugely positive for the Brit awards. Grammys were mostly negative (well Coldplay did lose ALL 3 awards). They were humiliated in 2009 and there were glitches at this year's awards but I'm telling you, if make a poll, the Brits would win by a landslide. ;)
  9. Don't you have it in your phone/music player? Again - being a fangirl is like a full time job.
  10. ^^ I don't believe they turned down the offer and decided to tour instead. They were probably never contacted. Surely they could have easily adjusted their touring plans to one night of the Olympics opening/closing ceremony.
  11. Actually, the majority of people said that the Brits performances were much much better than the Grammys. I actually enjoyed the Brit awards (not just because Coldplay won :P), the Grammys were the tacky ones. And of course, it's a huge stupid mistake not to call Coldplay to perform at the London Olympics. Blur sucked, they were clearly rusty. Coldplay has antithetic songs much more suited for such spectacle.
  12. I'm sure the majority of US CITIZENS don't want and don't support this, but yeah, that's what the people on top do - "liberate" countries that just happen to have a shitload of oil. And yes, let's not forget the multi-billion dollar arms industry. Libya done, Syria's next. What the fuck. Why do you need such a huge defense budget America? Which neighbor's gonna attack you, Canada or Mexico? My granny loves Obama, she thinks he's the greatest person ever. But she chooses politicians according to looks and diction. xD But this thread is about dazzled Chrissy. :nice:
  13. Well is he a huge fan? :dazzled: My sister is a moderate fan. :awesome: I've just sent her some funny Buckin photos, she LOLd and asked me if I'm jealous of Jonny. :laugh3: :disappointed:
  14. Aren't you a stubborn mothafucka. LOL an argument about a plastic kids' watch.
  15. But of course. Worried bout the psychos tho. :P

^Looks like he scratched his ass and then hugged Jonny. The pervy avatar's gone, it was just in honor of yesterday's crazy Buckinness. And...
  17. LP6

Y R U allowed to speak? :snobby: But seriously, SOME ambient elements and SOME electronic sounds is OK. MX is already too much (for most people). I like Eno's ambient touches on The Unforgettable Fire. Never gonna happen.
  18. In Rainbows is their most approachable album, so to speak. And it's perfect. But the lyrics are more abstract. Fitter Happier is not a real song. :P And... That song is so anti-Radiohead. It's like a joke - LULZ LOOK AT US WE'RE GUNZ N ROZES. I like it tho.
  19. Emphasis on the past tense. I said that now understand why it's hailed as one of the best albums of the '90s. I explored their more recent work first, and worked backwards. In Rainbows is still my favorite album, followed by Kid A, OK Comp and then a combination of HTTT and that album that starts with A. :disappointed:

    Totally. :gorgeous: Buthehasathickertrunk.
  21. YKYA when you write 2 pages calculating to see if you'll live long enough to hear Car Kids. :freak:
  22. Nikola replied to amsterdam's topic in Coldplay
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm sorry but that was necessary. :| Look how unfortunately that person positioned their hands in regards to Jonny. And Chris giving the evil looks: STEP. AWAY. FROM. MY. MAN... WHORE.
  23. :laugh3: Those Downfall parodies never get old. I've seen a bunch of them. Bono is a demi-god...
  24. EPs are better for my OCD. Also, widespread use of B-sides died along with rock and roll. Today it's just a digital download, possibly a CD single with a bunch of useless remixes.
  25. Nikola replied to amsterdam's topic in Coldplay
That's OK, Gwyneth also has tiny titties. OMG we totally effed up this innocent thread... ...wait, innocent?
