1. holy shit this is good holy shit that was really good and i love how chris's voice sounds different damn yeah not disappointed at all
2. yeah i thought that clocks was more popular
3. they started the whole "being nice is cool" thing, keane, snow patrol, kings of lion, one republic, the fray, the script all followed coldplay's example
4. Im sorry bout you're wrong, music always was about selling the lifestyle so stop blaming polular music today for something that has been a thing since 1960 in the 70s it was all about hard rock and metal, they were selling that lifestyle, long hair, leather, trah hotel rooms, drugs and people going to jail and having children with everyone, that was the thing in the 80s it was disco, curly hair, boot cut jeans, hippy things, discos, dancing and all that stuff plus LSD and tripping with drugs in the 90s the brit pop boom, bands that love to call other people bedwetters, mid-lenght hair, everyone was wearing those long brown jackets, oasis vs blur, radiohead doing their stuff 10's twerking, female figures spreading feminists ideas through music (see nicki minaj, beyonce), songs about butts, drugs aren't cool anymore (thank god for that), big cars and all that music was ALWAYS about lyrics made right for what was selling, so don't blame it all on current artists because they aren't doing anything different from what The Beatles, Led Zeppeling, Guns n Roses, Oasis and Coldplay did back in their days.
5. he said awful things on westlife and some on mariah carey, those two were the artists that he truly couldnt stand
6. absolutely right! lets take a simple look nicki minaj: people think her as a "slut" and fake and talentless woman, but she's an avis philanthropist, that defends the LGBT+ rights, gives money to charity, defends the minorities and on and on and on Pete Townshend: who's guitarist, man he's in The Who, great music, they rock, must be a great guy, too bad he was involved in a website that promoted child pornography (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Ore)
7. what baffles me is that you make it sound like its a bad thing i prefer 2015 chris over 2003 chris, he used to bash other people just because they didnt fit into that category of music and i hated that, now i love him because he a decent person that has learnt not to judge musician by their genre something you should learn to do.
8. http://www.capitalfm.com/new-music/ this is the confirmation, AHFOD is in the list of albums to be released in 2015 with the date TBC
9. they got married two days ago, didnt you hear?
10.

12. awwwww i mis everyone from the lounge, reilly, nick, greg, emily, kat :(((((((((((((((((
13. not everyday 5th august the ETIAW ones, it was a wednesday after two weeks the VH ones, it was a tuesday (the day before wednesday) manteining the same pattern if we keep on counting the day before every two weeks we get: Magic/Shiver/Speed of Sound/In My Place lyrics like this Magic on 31 of August a Monday Shiver on 20 September a Sunday Speed of Sound 3rd of october a Saturday In My Place 16th of october a friday and then of course LP7 first single release date: 29th of October, a Thursday
14. Im 100% sure anchorman is teasing us he èosted the lyrics from ETIAW and Violet Hill, both were first singles from their respective albums I think we are pretty close to it lets see if he posts the lyrics of magic, shiver, in my place and speed of sound
15. oh my god you are right the thread disappeared!! i had completely forgotten of that
16. You know how they say a picture says a thousand words? Well, try this for size...... http://www.riksimpson.com/blog/this-is-all
17. the deluxe edition of GS is int eh thin cardboard box, so i think the deluxe edition of AHFOD will have the same package
18. well its really not your business if i want to see a band or not, even if i only know 2 songs, i went to a santana concert in 2010 and i was in second row and i only know 2 santana songs, but man if i enjoyed the concert, even tho i didnt know a song
19. ugh i hate when people get passive agressive, and im referring to you nvdmm, man im one of those people who thinks that coldplay's setlist are lame most of the time but i assure you no one is getting alienated, as alway people on her overreact about things that are normal. The only thing coldplay needs to do is longer sets the band can't think of the hardcore fanbase and that's it, they are aware of their current status and they know that 80% of the crowd is there just for the hits, and they have to please them and you know why? 1 song or 2 songs they have paid as much as you did for that ticket, imagine going there and discovering the band isn't going to play the only songs you know
20. i like POC better than paradise, dont let it, etiaw and up in flames
21. DLIBYH is the perfect example of when coldplay FAIL in production, i can't tell an instrument in that song, and the wall of sound is so big and loud that it gives e an headache. it could have been one of my fav songs from MX if it wasnt for the awful awful awful awful awful production, worst production ever on a coldplay song, i cant think of a another coldplay song THAT ruinied fro the production
22. i hate myself for not sending a vide of me clapping >:( I WANT NEW MUSIC FROM THEM DAMN
23. you guys are overreacting to be honest calm down
24. i actually dont know because a) i find chris' lyrics cringe worthing, either you can't understand what the fuck he's talking about (rainy day) or they are so corny that you just dont wanna look at them (another's arms), there few exceptions but that's it b) the instrumentals are good but that's it, there are bands that when i listen to their music i can feel it in my bones, that doesnt happen so often with coldplay c) their production, that luckily has improved over the last few years, isnt the best either, most of the time the wall of sound is so badly produced that you can't tell an instrument BUT they are the first band i fell in love with 5 years ago, the first band whose bandmembers' name i learnt, first band whose discography ive finished and carefully collected in my pc folder, first band i saw live et cetera they are this safe band i can go to when other bands lack their "familiarity" i may not like them musically as much as i used to, because i discovered bands that fulfill my musical need in a way that coldplay can't, but i love them so much as people, that i cant give up on them. Jonny, Guy, Will and Chris are such great role models to me and that goes beyond music so i guess that's "why coldplay"
25. the deluxe edition thing tho isnt nothing new, bands have been doing that since the 90s regarding countries like Japan just do like i did with GS, all your friends is my favourite song so i refused to buy the album because it wasn in it, i live in italy and i dont know anyone from the USA so i couldnt get my hands on the deluxe edition, so i made an illegal copy of it, im not gonna pay for something i cant truly enjoy. After more than one year of waiting Mackplay sent the Deluxe edition to me so now i can finally listen to it.
