Ja, die Engländer sind schon ein bisschen eigen, wie ich das so in der Zeitung mitbekomme... mit ihren eigenen Bands springen sie aber auch ziemlich übel um. Erst wird so eine ganz junge winzige Band urplötzlich the next big thing, aber wenn sie dann wirklich über die Jahre zu einem big thing wird, sind die Leute genervt von ihnen und die Presse macht sie richtig platt. Siehe Coldplay und Pete Doherty - letzterer nervt allerdings auch so ein bisschen ^^

Meine Sammlung wächst noch, in Gedanken sind da noch viel mehr verschiedene Künstler vorhanden, aber im Moment überwiegen ganz klar die Engländer: 8x Coldplay, 2x Libertines, 3x Oasis, 2x U2(okay, die sind Iren, aber für mich gehört U2 zum Britpop), 1x The Verve, 1x Blur, 1x Travis, 9x Robbie Williams (hör ich zwar nicht mehr, aber er ist auch Engländer und nicht wirklich verpönt). - 4x Red Hot Chili Peppers, 1x John Frusciante, 1x Green Day

It's still alive :lol: Hey this is a place where we can talk about anything that has something to do with Coldplay - except too bad critics, they are forbidden... so I think, if someone's against talking about Guys butt cheeks and Chris sexy appearance - I'M surely not against it :D - he can ignore threads that care about these subjects. Before I found this forum I was sure Coldplay aren't a band in which bandmates are adored by female fans like e.g. Robbie Williams is ("oh god he's so sexy" etc.) but fans only care about the music. ...and I thought until today with U2 and their members this REALLY can't happen (anymore)??

Okay, ABBA ist nur auf Partys mein Fall, Ace Of Base ist überhaupt nicht meins, Sugarplum Fairy...ääh da muss ich passen. Aber Roxette und Mando Diao - ganz unterschiedliche, aber echt gute Band! Stimmt, die Schweden haben echt viel drauf! Moment, The Hives, The Cardigans und Eskobar gibts noch, und vorhin hab ich mir mal Moneybrother angehört, ich glaub die sind auch nícht übel. Tja, Amerika ist groß, da kommt das Beste und das Schlimmste her! Aber für mich haben britische Musiker immer gleich nen Bonus, ist echt schlimm wie voreingenommen ich schon bin wegen meiner Britpop-Liebe ^^

Wow! Two new albums of two great bands come out at the same day! The Chili Peppers' new one will be released on May 5th, too! I love Blur, it took a long time and a change of my musical taste until I got into them, but suddenly I did and since then I'm crazy for them! Damon is a great singer! And Alex is beautiful indeed.

I took part in an audition for a tv show... they said I was really good. But so far they didn't call me if I'm in the next round :( Acting is not my main talent, but when it comes to the point I think I'm not THAT bad.

Too late Julia! But I really got into The Who recently. When I got to know you I knew hardly two songs by them! But My Generation caused it, it's one of the best songs I've ever heard. And the cover by Oasis is even a bit better.

So ist es :) Trotzdem würd ich wegen der Musik am liebsten in England wohnen...da sind ständig Lieblingsbands von mir auf Platz 1. Allerdings wär's da vielleicht auch langweilig: "Welche Musik hörst du?" "Coldplay!" "Ich auch!" "Ich auch!" "Ich ebenfalls!"......

Es gibt auch Hoffnung! Die Ärzte, Wir sind Helden, Tomte, Schandmaul, die kleinen Lokalbands, die noch kaum einer kennt - Reverb zum Beispiel, die Band meines Cousins ;) Und individuell zu sein macht sowieso Spaß :)

=> Verbietet die Superstars! Dabei werd ich mir das Finale heut sogar ansehen, oh Gott... :P Ich find Chris' Haar auch furchtbar...wieder ein Argument dafür, dass Coldplay zu Rush Of Blood-Zeiten am besten waren!

^^ Wow, everyone is digging U2. In the end I've bought Up The Bracket. Because I'm so into The Libs right now. But I'll get the U2 one anyhow! I want to have the Best Of because I have the Best Of 1990-2000 and the latest album too and I want to complete my collection, having the "most important" U2 songs on CD. Today I've bought myself the old Wonderwall single by Oasis :) It's one of my favourite songs of all time and I wanted it to stand in my CD shelf.

Have we? Where? Well I'm wearing a Carl Barât shirt right now. Although I still like Pete Doherty a lot after all the stuff he's done. Oh, and Madonna's new stuff SUCKS absolutely.

Do you mean it because he's more jazz-pop than real jazz? Well I gotta say I like him very much! He's cute and he plays the piano fantastic!
