Not sure if I ever posted this one up... and I'm too lazy to go back and check. This is me and a friend's dog. It took me a while waiting for him to look at me before I could snap the pic with my left hand.

The Doves are amazing. Their album The Last Broadcast is filled with some really good stuff. If somebody wants to sample a bit, I'd say listening to "There goes the fear" is a good start. That's the song that got me started on them.

At first I hated this guy.. but only cause he's just really damn good. I don't like his mouth.. it bugs me. If you know how John sings then you know what I'm talking about. I would definitely recommend listening to a song called 3 x 5 ... very good stuff. My mom even went out and got the cd just for that song after I played it for her. Also a good song is St. Patrick's Day. Enjoy!

Funny.. I was on a flight from Spain to TX last November... everyone has their own little tv monitor in front of them and can choose whatever they want to watch... well they scheduled to show an hour long Coldplay concert on one of the channels and i was so excited cause the night before I saw them in Barcelona.. anyway, they switched it and showed some rap concert instead.. boooo. so i think i ended up watching big fat greek wedding or something.. but on the video channel they showed in my place before i landed.. that was a good way to end the flight.

This movie is incredible!!!!! And you are either gonna love this movie or hate it. It's very different..... I've always thought that it's a movie lover's movie. :shrug: Anyway.. yeah.. great film.

There is a new book out for Coldplay guitar stuff.... It's all the songs from AROBTTH plus all the latest b-sides off that album.. They did the same thing for the Parachutes album... The Parachutes version of this was the first guitar book I ever got..... Anyway.. it's worth the buy if anyone likes to play or wants to play. If you are a beginner and you think the books look too hard, wait a month or two till you get better,... you'll be surprised what you'll be able to play after a bit of practice.

"Smile..." was definitely one of the songs I was looking forward to when the album first came out.... and when I heard it i was so pleased.... I think one of the highlights of that album is the jonny's guitar parts during the chorus of god put a smile........ that combined with chris' "nahhhhhhhhh... when you work it out.... " simply awesome. :usa:

I've battled this question for some time.... and I can't say anything is better than Parachutes right now... it's close though. Parachutes is my baby... I guess it has special meaning to me which helps a lot.... but it's a close one. I vote Parachutes.
